More On A Recent WWE Diva Firing, Candice Injury Update

As reported yesterday, Saylor James, a Florida-based model by the name of Catalina White signed sometime last year was recently let go because she had gotten unauthorized tattoos. Considering company officials gave her the James name (and they rarely allow talent to share the same name), they apparently had plans to call the bikini model up to the main roster as a relative of the WWE Diva. White kind of has a fresh-faced look to her similar to Mickie's, and the tattoos worked against her character, hence the release.

Also, I erroneously reported yesterday that White had disappeared from Florida Championship Wrestling sometime in November. She was actually still in the developmental promotion as recently as January as she competed in the opening round of the "Queen of FCW" Tournament that recently concluded. The following match (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izW6L_Ni0tI) aired on the January 17, 2009 edition of the Florida Championship Wrestling show. She lost to the "Girl from Mexico" in the opening round match. Considering she was released sometime this year, you can add White to the WWE cut list for 2009.

Conspicuous by her absence on Monday's Raw was Candice Michelle. As noted earlier, she is still healing from an ankle injury she recently suffered, hence her absence from the program. To clarify the 3/18 date by her name on the leaked Raw script sheet when there's no WWE show scheduled that day, it's actually the day she'll be cleared to return to the ring. She should be back for the 3/23 Raw in Kansas City, Missouri ? providing WWE uses her.

Speaking of Candice, there is a small image of her on the front page of www.NBCSports.com from her appearance at a poker tournament last week as a representative of GoDaddy.com.
