Reviews For '12 Rounds', Cena Challenges The Rock At 'Mania 26, Jericho & More
" 12 Rounds opens today and early critics reviews are mixed. The movie aggregator site RottenTomatoes.com currently has the film at a 50%, which is better than all of the WWE Films releases to date, but still falls short of the 60% that is considered good. Also, it is only counting six reviews so far so it's rating will probably change considerably by the end of the weekend. As a comparison, Race to Witch Mountain scored a 40% on the site while Cena's last release – The Marine – scored a tepid 21%. The Wrestler, on the other hand, scored a 97% and is actually the highest rated film of all the films in the top 50 at the box office.
" Speaking of 12 Rounds, John Cena did an interview on MTV.com promoting the film. As he's been doing pretty frequently lately, Cena took some shots at Dwayne Johnson, saying "He's the guy I say I won't be like. 'Cause he ? although a very, very successful actor and super-nice guy, consummate professional, one of the hardest-working guys I've ever met ? he left the WWE."
"We have a very loyal fanbase," Cena continued. "For him to go on the front and say, 'I love the business,' and then not be a part of it [is something I'd never do]."
He went on to challenge Johnson to get back in the ring against him saying "I've been trying to wrestle him. It's not that I don't think he'll accept the challenge; he truly has a full plate. I think our fans would like to see him come back to the ring. Dwayne Johnson or the Rock or whatever he wants call himself vs. John Cena. Let's say 'WrestleMania XXVI.'"

" SLAM Sports is reporting that Chris Jericho will not face criminal charges for the altercation he had with fans in Victoria, British Columbia. Victoria police determined that after going through all the video tape and witness accounts, they didn't have enough evidence to warrant a charge. For the full article, click here. " Finally, a note from our store. The Other End of the Line releases on March 31st on DVD. I got a chance to watch a copy of the film last week. It's a fun romantic comedy, kind of like a mix between Slumdog Millionaire, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail. It's a little formulaic, but most romantic comedies are. It's worth checking out if you're in the mood for some light watching and want to escape all the serious Oscar fare that's releasing right now. To purchase a copy of the DVD, click here.
