Edge will be taking some time off following Wrestlemania XXV, reports The Sun. As a result, he is expected to drop the World Heavyweight Championship in his three-way bout with John Cena and Big Show at the event.

He is currently rehabbing a number of nagging injuries and is restricted to working tag matches at house shows.
