The Peoria Rivermen minor league hockey team is hosting "WWE Legends Night" tonight in Peoria, Illinois featuring WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler, Raw Superstar "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and former WWE wrestler Koko B. Ware. The wrestling legend will be signing autographs during tonight's game starting at 7:00 p.m. The event was originally scheduled to take place in December, but was cancelled due to a snowstorm.
WWE has announced CFO George A. Barrios' participation in the Wedbush Morgan Management Access Conference.
After a several year long absence, former WWE Women's Champion Debra has finally decided to accept wrestling-related bookings. Through wrestling promoter Marvin Ward, the former WWE Diva is available for autograph appearances, conventions, store openings, wrestling appearances and interviews. Debra last appeared in wrestling in June 2002. However, her husband at the time, Steve Austin, walked out of World Wrestling Entertainment, and Debra followed. She was never seen in WWE again. Debra's been a bit more visible the past few years, having made several appearances in the summer of 2007 on various news programs to discuss the Chris Benoit double murder and suicide. She also appeared in Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy as "Jenny" and will be starring in the upcoming film Gathering of Heroes: Legend of the Seven Swords, which is due for release sometime this year. Here is the official announcement regarding her availability: DEBRA MCMICHAEL & DAVID HEBNER AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE BOOKINGS To All Promoters: WCW and WWE Diva DEBRA MCMICHAEL and long time WWE Referee and agent DAVID HEBNER are available for Autograph Appearances, Conventions, Store Openings, Wrestling Appearances, and Interviews. DEBRA MCMICHAEL is an actress and former professional wrestling manager and WWE Diva. Arguably best known by her ring name, Debra, she gained recognition for her appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (later World Wrestling Entertainment) between 1998 and 2002. Debra was formerly married to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Before becoming involved in wrestling, Debra competed as a beauty-pageant participant, becoming runner-up for Miss Texas USA in 1984. DAVID HEBNER debuted as a professional wrestling referee in the late 1970s in the Richmond, Virginia area. In the 1980s he began working for the World Wrestling Federation, where he refereed many historic matches such as Randy Savage versus Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III and Randy Savage versus Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania V. Perhaps his most memorable appearance came on the February 5, 1988 episode of The Main Event, when he was assigned to referee a match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship between Hulk Hogan and Andr? the Giant. Andre defeated Hogan after Hebner's twin brother Earl had switched places with his brother and quickly counted to three as Andre pinned Hogan, despite Hogan clearly kicking out of the pin attempt.
