TNA Scraps 'The Governor' Character, Roode Vs. Young, More

As seen on last night's edition of iMPACT!, TNA has scrapped Shannon Spruill's "The Governor" character in favor of her much more familiar Daffney persona. The change was explained in a session with Dr. Stevie as Daffney said she was sent away for five years to an insane asylum. She eventually got better and decided to go out and act again because she loves it. She talked about doing odd jobs and commercials before receiving a call from her close friends on the indy scene, Roxxi and Taylor, to prank someone. She said it was supposed to be a job, but The Beautiful People took things too far by using scissors and cutting her hair. After they cut her hair, all the old memories she was trying to suppress returned ? she then broke down in tears. To conclude the session, she told Dr. Stevie that her old doctor told her that a brain sometimes has a life of its own.
