Update On WWE Draft, Steve Austin/WWE Update, Kevin Dunn
WWE plans on keeping all three brands apart from this point forward. For the most part, WWE managed to stay true to their new directive as announcer Josh Mathews and United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter were the sole talents to cross brands following Backlash. It was noted on commentary during last week's episode of SmackDown that MVP's title defense against Dolph Ziggler on this week's show was signed prior to the Draft.
While we've likely seen "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's last wrestling match, a friend of the WWE Hall of Famer said he told him he missed being in the ring after watching the epic Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match at WrestleMania, not to mention Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat working. This is something Austin had given no indication of beforehand.
Between annual salary ($713,462), stock awards ($882,359) and incentive bonuses, WWE television producer Kevin Dunn earned $1,967,821 in 2008.
