Hernandez Injury Update, TNA/SpikeTV Claims, Midway, More
? Randy passed on a link to a new blog on his website at https://nawf.com/blog/?p=445 where he was contacted by someone claiming to either currently or previously worked for Spike TV during the networks TV negotiations with TNA Wrestling. The individual challenges some of the claims by Randy on his blog. For those unaware, Randy was a former employee of TNA and has started a blog discussing his tenure with the company. It is a very interesting read.
? As noted earlier, Time-Warner has placed a $33 million bid to buy the assets of Midway Games, which recently produced the "TNA Impact" video game. Time-Warner would not be buying the rights to have the TNA video game. Samoa Joe stated in a recent interview with ESPN.com that production for "TNA Impact 2" is currently underway. The belief at this point is that whatever is left of Midway that is not sold to someone else would finish the game or the title would just be dropped.
? Although the story seems to be changing every week, the latest on Hernandez is that he will likely only miss three months after getting neck fusion surgery on his T1 and C7 vertebras. Initial reports had him out for six to nine months.
