Huge Boxing Fight This Weekend, Roxxi's TNA Release Confirmed

This Saturday night on Pay-Per-View will be one of the most anticipated boxing fights of the year, as Manny Pacquiao steps in the ring with Ricky Hatton. WWE superstar Batista will be there to support Pacquiao, a fellow Filipino, and will carry one of his title belts to the ring before the fight. Batista told the UK Sun this week, "I love Ricky but Manny is in a league of his own. He is off the charts." He added, "I am thrilled to be there to support him before the bout."

As noted last night, Ring of Honor announced they have signed former ECW original Little Guido (real name James Maritato) for their 6/13 show in New York City. No word yet on his opponent.

We can now confirm that TNA Knockout Roxxi has been released from the company. She and Rhaka Khan have been serving a 60-day suspension as punishment for a backstage altercation that took place several weeks ago at an iMPACT! taping. For one reason or another, the decision was made this week not to bring her back. Roxxi posted a message on her Twitter account wishing "TNA the best in their future endeavors." Her profile has been removed from TNAWrestling.com. Rhaka Khan's profile is still up and she is believed to be safe for now.
