Triple H Not Sure Why Flair Wants To Return?, New Tag Team

During a recent appearance on the "Busted Open" show on Sirius XM radio, Triple H told Dave LaGreca that he has mixed feelings regarding Ric Flair's desire to return to the ring after his retirement at WrestleMania 24. Triple H added, "There's a part of me that's bitter sweet. As much as I enjoy Ric on the show and I miss seeing Ric Flair on the show, I feel that he was given the ultimate sendoff in the business. There have been so many guys in the past...they retire and unretire then they retire and they unretire. It's almost a joke when they un-retire. He really wanted to be the guy who said, meant it, and did it. I don't know if he misses the business or he needs the money. I'm not sure what it is, but if he's thinking about coming back there has to be a pretty good reason because he was pretty adamant about that never happening."

Chris Kelly sent this in: Despite appearing with WGTT partner Shelton Benjamin on Smackdown the past few weeks, Charlie Haas teamed with Mike Knox at the Smackdown/ECW live event in Las Cruces, NM last night again and were billed as the Haas-Knox Connection. Shelton worked a singles match earlier in the night losing to John Morrison.

Scheduled for next week's Smackdown/ECW TV taping in Memphis, TN on Tuesday, June 2 is a dark match featuring Jeff Hardy & Rey Mysterio vs. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge & Chris Jericho in a Steel Cage match with Jerry "The King" Lawler as special guest referee.
