Shark Boy is said to be suffering from the flu, so company officials felt it was best to send him home to rest. As noted earlier here on the site, TNA announced on their Twitter page (www.twitter.com/tnaonline) that Shark Boy was sent home from this weekend's slate of live events due to illness.
Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT! drew an exact rating of a 1.15, down 7.0 percent from last week's 1.23 number. The show was seen by an average audience of 1.6 million viewers, down 13.7 percent from the previous week and down 13.8 percent from the previous five episodes. The first hour drew a lackluster 1.09 going up against the conclusion of the Bulls vs. Celtics game on TNT before increasing to a 1.21 for the second hour. The show was outdrawn by this week's episode of ECW on Sci Fi, which pulled a 1.17 cable rating.

The Daily Press has an article on TNA Knockout Traci Brooks speaking to students in Timmins, Ontario on Friday. During the session, Brooks discussed overcoming her disability as she was born with torn arm tendons that make complete range of motion impossible. She noted she is unable to lift her hand higher than her head and most free weights.
