- A video package runs highlighting the heels in WWE including Big Show, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge and WWE Champion Randy Orton.

- We then go live to the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL where a series of pyro goes off in the entrance area in front of a sold out crowd. Jim Ross is the first to welcome us to the show.

- CM Punk's music hits to kick off the show for the hometown boy.

CM Punk vs. Umaga

The bell rings and Punk hits Umaga with a few body kicks. Umaga cuts Punk off with a big knee to the gut. Umaga counters a springboard crossbody attempt by Punk into a swinging side slam. Umaga with some big rights to Punk in the corner. Umaga catches Punk with a big elbow as he comes off the ropes. Umaga keeps Punk grounded with some quick strikes to the shoulder. Punk attempts a comeback, but Umaga continues to cut him off. Punk grabs the ropes to break it up and Umaga drops his body over Punk's arm. Umaga then launches Punk into the corner sending him shoulder first into the steel ring post. Umaga brings Punk back down and continues to work on his shoulder. Punk hits Umaga with a few kicks to the head, but Umaga is still standing. Punk gets to his feet, hits a few rights, but Umaga continues to work on him lifting him up and slamming him back down. Umaga drops a knee over the jaw of Punk, cover and Punk kicks out after two. Punk rolls to the ring apron outside the ropes. Umaga hits the ropes and lands a high kick on Punk sending Punk from the ring apron to the ring barricade with force. Punk recovers, hits a few shoulder charges on Umaga from the ropes, attempts a sunset flip and Umaga drops his body down across the chest of Punk with force.

Umaga chokes Punk with his foot and then uses the ropes to lift himself up and drops his body down across the chest of Punk. Umaga attempts this a second time and Punk gets his feet up to block. Punk attempts a scoop slam, but Umaga is too heavy and Punk falls back with Umaga crashing down into a cover that results in a two count. Umaga works on the left arm/shoulder of Punk. Punk gets to his feet and gets in a few shots, hits the ropes and Umaga takes him out with a big uppercut. Umaga goes up top, jumps and misses a flying headbutt attempt. Punk holds onto the ropes, Umaga charges and Punk pulls the top rope down sending Umaga flying over. Punk with a springboard dive over the top rope and takes out Umaga on the outside. The referee starts the count on both men. Punk is in and Umaga rolls in at 4. Punk starts lighting up Umaga with some big body kicks and follows with a big knee to the jaw. Punk with a jumping heel kick on Umaga. Punk blocks a body splash attempt, Umaga strikes his head on the ring post, Punk with a running knee to the face, Umaga counters a bulldog and splashes Punk in the corner. Umaga misses his running splash to th ehead, Punk is up and lands a flying bulldog. Cover by Punk and Umaga kicks out after two.

Umaga tosses Punk over the top rope who holds on and lands on the ring apron. Punk with a kick to Umaga, goes up top, hits a crossbody, hooks the leg and Umaga again kicks out after two. Punk tries lifting Umaga up and again can't do it. Umaga with a counter hitting a Samoan Drop on Punk, covers and Punk barely kicks out after two. Umaga calls for the end looking for his Samoan Spike. Punk ducks, kicks Umaga in the head three times, gets Umaga up on his shoulders, but Umaga is still too much. Umaga with a superkick to Punk, Punk falls to the corner, Umaga hits the body splash to the head and then hits the Samoan Spike on Punk. Umaga covers and gets the pinfall.

After the match, we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Umaga is still celebrating his victory standing over a dazed CM Punk.

- Backstage, Vickie Guerrero is watching the PPV when Chavo Guerrero walks in. Chavo said he has good news. He talked to the trainer and said that John Cena is cleared to wrestle tonight. Vickie looks over and says that the match is officially on. We see Big Show sitting in the room. He stands up and talks about how not only did she lose Triple H to injury, but she will lose John Cena as well. Big Show said he knows people came here tonight to cheer on Cena, but that will not happen tonight and that it is bad for business. Vickie says no one person is bigger than this entire company and everyone has the chance to step up. Big Show says he will do just that. Edge walks in and says he needs to speak with his wife. Big Show and Chavo leave.

- We head to ringside where Josh Mathews and Matt Striker look at footage from Backlash a few weeks ago where Christian defeated Jack Swagger to become the new ECW Champion.

ECW Championship Match
Christian (c) vs. Jack Swagger

They did ring introductions for the challenger Jack Swagger and the champion Christian.

The bell rings and Jack Swagger charges in. Christian dodges it and they circle. Swagger shoots in and Christian again dodges it. Christian catches Swagger with a big right. Swagger sends Christian into the ropes, Christian slides under, Swagger chases him around the ring, they are back in, Christian almost hits the Killswitch and Swagger dodges it. Christian taunts at Swagger saying he was that close to ending it. Lock up and Swagger takes the back of Christian immediately taking him down. Christian with elbows to Swagger, hits the ropes and Swagger catches him with a big shoulder block. Swagger sends Christian chest first into the corner. Christian hits the ropes, slides under Swagger, Swagger charges and Christian pulls the ropes down sending him to the outside. Christian with a dropkick on Swagger who tries to get back into the ring. Christian with a springboard dive from the corner to the outside on Swagger. Swagger gets the upper hand putting Christian on his shoulders and throwing him ribs first into the steel ring post. Swagger tosses Christian back in the ring, covers and Christian kicks out after two. Swagger applies a body scissors submission on Christian. Swagger uses the ropes for leverage when Christian is able to break free.

Swagger grabs Christian by the leg and hits a big stomp. Christian with jabs and chops to Swagger to fight back. Christian hits the ropes, but Swagger gets in a high knee. Cover by Swagger and Christian kicks out after two. Swagger lifts Christian up and plants him down near the corner. Swagger tries to flip out from the corner, but Christian gets his boots up. Christian hits the ropes, jumps at Swagger, Swagger catches him, attempts a running powerslam, but Christian slides off and hits an inverted DDT. Cover by Christian and Swagger kicks out after two. Christian with his dropkick to the face in the corner twice on Swagger. Christian goes up top and misses a flying headbutt. Swagger with a quick rollup and Christian kicks out after a one count since his shoulders were not quite down right away. Swagger chases Christian who slides out and Swagger hits the corner with force. Christian goes up top, but Swagger is able to suplex him off back into the ring. Cover by Swagger and Christian again kicks out after two. Double clothesline spot in the middle of the ring and both men are down. Christian with a sunset flip from the corner, Swagger drops down over the chest of Christian and pulls his legs up in a cover, but Christian barely kicks out after two.

Swagger counters a tornado DDT attempt and Christian is able to hit an inverted DDT off the corner. Swagger drops Christian face first off the corner, rolls him up, but the referee stops the count when he sees him holding onto the tights. Christian attempts the Killswitch, but Swagger counters flipping Christian back landing face first. Christian counters a gutwrench powerbomb, pulls down the straps on Swagger's singlet and rolls Swagger up holding the tights to get the pinfall.

Winner & STILL ECW Champion: Christian

After the match, Christian rolls out of the ring and holds up the ECW Championship at the end of the ramp staring down Jack Swagger. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Matt Striker calls Christian a cheater.

- Backstage, Chavo Guerrero is listening to the door when Edge walks out. Chavo asks what went down in there. Edge calls him an embarassment and excuses himself to get ready for his title match later tonight.

Shelton Benjamin w/ Charlie Haas vs. John Morrison
The bell rings and both circle each other. Lock up and Benjamin immediately hits a big overhead suplex on Morrison. Benjamin with a firemans carry into an arm submission. Benjamin with a big kick to the chest of Morrison. Benjamin with a shoulder block on Morrison. Morrison with a few rights, but Benjamin rolls out of the ring. Morrison teases that he is going to springboard off the corner, but comes back in when Benjamin turns around. Morrison then hits an insane springboard near 450 splash off the top rope onto Benjamin on the outside! Morrison tosses Benjamin back in the ring, goes up top and Benjamin catches him with a big kick that sends Morrison flying off to the outside. Benjamin distracts the referee allowing Charlie Haas to toss Morrison back inside. Benjamin with a cover and Morrison kicks out after two. Benjamin has Morrison up in a tree of woe like position in the corner and drops a few knees. Benjamin with a snapmare takedown into an abdominal stretch. Haas screams, "Squeeze Shelton!" on the outside. Morrison fights out with a few shots to the body, hits the ropes, but Benjamin takes him out right away with a big elbow, covers and gets a two count. Benjamin with kicks to Morrison on the mat and then takes his back applying a modified camel clutch.

Benjamin lifts Morrison up and hits a big high knee to the face. Benjamin then applies a rear naked choke on Morrison. Benjamin continues to wrench back as Morrison fights back to his feet. Morrison with elbows and then counters into a choke of his own. Both men collide in the middle of the ring and both are down. The referee starts the count. Both are up by the 6 count. Benjamin grabs Morrison, but Morrison counters in mid air into a body splash. Morrison with a few right hands and quick uppercut. Benjamin catches Morrison with an elbow in the corner, but Morrison fires back with a dropkick, clothesline and big elbow on Benjamin. Morrison with a tilt-a-whirl into a side russian leg sweep, cover and Benjamin kicks out after two. Benjamin with a big inverted backbreaker on Morrison. Benjamin with the cover and Morrison kicks out after two. Morrison catches Benjamin with a big side kick to the head and a knee to the head on Benjamin. Cover by Morrison and Benjamin again kicks out after two. Morrison catches Benjamin with a kick to the chest, Morrison springboards off the corner, Benjamin catches Morrison on his shoulders and powerbombs MOrrison right into the corner with force. Cover by Benjamin and Morrison kicks out after two.

Morrison with a drop toe hold on Benjamin into the second turnbuckle in the corner. Morrison with a monkey flip on Benjamin who lands on his feet. Morrison takes out Haas on the ring apron, Benjamin charges, Morrison moves, Benjamin hits the corner with force, turns around and Morrison catches Benjamin with a flying kick. Morrison with a twisting corkscrew from the top rope on Benjamin, hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

After the match, we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, we see a shot of a frustrated Benjamin in the ring as Morrison heads up the ramp celebrating his win.

- A promo for the WrestleMania 25 DVD airs.

- We are back live and The Miz is headed to the ring. Miz grabs a mic and wanted to recognize the winner of the last match...Marty Jannetty...he means John Morrison. He said this won't be the first time he follows Morrison and tops his performance. Miz then talks about John Cena and how he is booked tonight against Big Show. He shuts up the fans chanting "What?" saying they sound like a bunch of ducks. That was great. He then says he will challenge someone else tonight since Cena is already booked. Miz calls Cena a loveable loser...much like the Chicago Cubs. Alfonso Soriano is front row and Miz spots him out. He said he saw Soriano doing John Cena's "You Can't See Me" taunt recently and said what that actually means is that he can't see a World Series ring as long as he plays for the Cubs. Miz taunts at Soriano to get in the ring, but gets a "call" from Lou Pinella saying it can't happen. He then uses Soriano as a substitute for Cena so he is now 4-0 against Cena. Santino Marella's music hits and he walks out. He calls him "The Fiz." Miz corrects him. Santino said he heard Miz dissing a "fellow Italian" named Alfonso Soriano. Miz cuts him off asking what he wants. Santino said he is starting to notice WWE stars are looking like animals. He said Vickie Guerrero looks like a pig and Vlaidmir Kozlov looks like Sam the Eagle. Santino said Miz looks like a jackass and we hear some great fake Michael Cole laughing. Miz said he has no problem taking out Santino right now. Santino said he hopes he brought a metal detector because he has guns. He takes off his sleeves and flexes. Miz decks him and Santino goes down. We then get a series of cheers and boos as they mount each other hitting punches. Miz eventually takes out Santino with a big DDT mouthing that he is 4-0. Chavo Guerrero then runs down and takes out Santino with a big frog splash.
- Backstage, Josh Mathews is with Chris Jericho. He said ever since he was drafted to Smackdown he has been robbed of a chance at the World Heavyweight Championship not once, but twice saying that is an attack on Chris Jericho. Jericho said while he is attacked, the fans cheer on and support Rey Mysterio. He said the fans can chant all they want because he can guarantee there will be no 619 tonight and there will be a new Intercontinenal Champion...Chris Jericho...and deal with that.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Chris Jericho

The bell rings and Rey Mysterio tosses Chris Jericho right into the ropes and attempts a 619 right away, but Jericho bails to the outside quickly to avoid it. Jericho gets back in and gets in a few right hands on Mysterio. Fans are very split in Chicago tonight. Jericho with a snapmare and kick to the back on Mysterio. Mysterio with elbows, hits the ropes and Jericho again takes him out. Jericho grabs Mysterio tossing him under the bottom rope and Mysterio lands not hurt at all. Jericho then slides out, Mysterio jumps in and then jumpso ff the ring apron taking out Jericho. Mysterio with a big kick to the chest of Jericho. Jericho then grabs Mysterio and tosses him chest first into the ring barricade. Jericho throws Mysterio back in the ring and Mysterio catches Jericho with a big kick to the chest. Jericho is caught up in the ropes as Mysterio goes up top and lands a huge leg drop. Mysterio with a shoulder block from the ring apron on Jericho, attempts to go up top and Jericho knocks him off. Jericho springboards off the corner and dropkicks Mysterio in the head sending Mysterio to the outside as Jericho smiles. Jericho goes to the outside and drops Mysterio face first off the ring barricade. Jericho tosses Mysterio back inside and springboards himself back in dropping his body over Mysterio's.

Jericho then locks on a modified choke on Mysterio yelling at the referee to ask him. Mysterio catches Jericho with a head kick from the corner and Jericho falls into the ropes. Mysterio hits the ropes looking to hit a 619, but Jericho stands up and immediately tosses Mysterio over his head with a big back body drop. Mysterio leaves the ring trying to regroup. Jericho tries to suplex Mysterio back in the ring, but Mysterio lands on his feet, hits the ropes, gets a tilt-a-whirl on Jericho, but Jericho holds on and drops Mysterio off his shoulders in a great spot! Jericho with a cover and Mysterio barely kicks out after two. Jericho then catapults Mysterio into the ropes, another cover and Mysterio kicks out. Jericho tosses Mysterio up top with his chest facing the crowd. Jericho jumped up and tried to remove Mysterio's mask. Mysterio fights him off and hits a sitdown body splash on Jericho. Mysterio hits the ropes and hits a springboard crossbody that results in a two count. Mysterio with a big kick to the head of Jericho, another cover and Jericho again kicks out. Mysterio catches Jericho with an elbow, jumps out from the corner, Jericho gets him on his shoulders, Mysterio flips off, Jericho attempts a Walls of Jericho, Mysterio flips out, hits the ropes and Jericho hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker!

The crowd chants "619" and Jericho smiles. Mysterio counters a running bulldog attempt, hits a tilt-a-whirl sending Jericho into the ropes. Mysterio misses a 619, springboards off the ropes, Jericho catches him and drops him down attempting a Walls of Jericho. Mysterio kicks Jericho away into the ropes, Mysterio attempts a 619 and Jericho grabs the legs of Mysterio pulling him back into the ring and locking on the Walls of Jericho. Mysterio reaches out trying to get to the ropes as Jericho screams to tap out. Mysterio gets close, Jericho pulls him back out, Mysterio slides under Jericho and gets in a small cradle that results in a close two count. Mysterio hits the ropes, jumps high, Jericho catches him and powerbombs him back down with force! Jericho with a roll up on Mysterio who kicks out after two just barely. Jericho with a big kick to the chest of Mysterio. Mysterio with a drop to hold on Jericho into the corner, hits a 619, springboards off the top rope and connects with a body splash over Jericho. Mysterio gets the cover and pinfall. Great match!

Winner & STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rey Mysterio

After the match, Rey Mysterio falls to his back on the outside and his handed the WWE Intercontinental Championship. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, we see a shot of Mysterio celebrating and holding up the title as we see a frustrated Jericho in the ring looking on.

- A video package airs highlighting the events between WWE Champion Randy Orton and Batista leading into tonight's WWE Championship match.

Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista

They did ring introductions for the challenger Batista and champion Randy Orton.

The bell rings and Randy Orton bails immediately to the outside when Batista charges in. Orton slowly gets back in the ring. Lock up, Batista gets in a side headlock on Orton and then a big shoulder block after Orton sent him into the ropes. Orton again bails from the ring and regroups. Orton returns to the ring, gets in a quick kick on Batista, but Batista explodes back with a big clothesline. Batista with a big suplex on Orton, cover and Orton kicks out after two. Batista with a big shot to the lower back of Orton and then drops his head down on the mat using his knee. Batista with shoulder charges to the lower back of Orton in the corner. Batista with a big irish whip sending Orton to the corner and Orton bounces off with force. Batista charges and Orton sends him to the outside through the ropes. Batista gets up on the ring apron and Orton levels him with a big dropkick. Orton rolls out of the ring and chops Batista over the back. Orton then drops Batista's back over the ring barricade and Batista screams out in pain. Orton tosses Batista back in the ring, covers and gets a two count. Orton then works on Batista dropping knees and stomping over his body. Cover by Orton and Batista kicks out after two. Orton then applies a side headlock on Batista wrenching back.

Orton drops Batista over his back, covers and gets another two count when Batista kicks out. Orton quickly follows that up with some quick kicks and stomps to the body. Orton applies another side headlock as Batista fights to his feet. Batista with a big back suplex on Orton. Batista with some rights on Orton, hits the ropes and Orton gets a sleeper applied yet again. Batista breaks free, hits the ropes and Orton catches Batista with a big dropkick. Batista is up on the ring apron, Orton lifts a high knee to Batista's head, grabs Batista by the head and drops him with a big DDT. Cover by Orton and Batista kicks out after two. Orton then leans down and starts to stalk Batista. Orton backs up, Batista is on his knees, Orton is looking for the punt when Batista stands up, charges and levels Orton with a huge Spear. Batista and Orton exchange some punches. The Chicago crowd is booing Batista's offense. Batista gets Orton up on his shoulders and connects with a big running powerslam. Batista with a cover and Orton kicks out after two. Orton then rolls out of the ring and yells at the referee t ocount him out. Batista sees this and goes after Orton hitting a few shots. Batista then starts chasing after Orton with the referee counting in the ring.

Orton wraps himself around the steel ring post as Batista hits him over the back with lots of shots. The action spills back into the ring and Batista levels Orton. Cover and Orton kicks out. Batista with a big kick to Orton's head and Orton rolls out of the ring. Orton grabs a steel chair and tries to bring it in when Batista decks him with a big right hand on the ring apron. Batista goes up top and takes out Orton. Cover and Orton again kicks out. Batista then goes for the Batista Bomb, but Orton is able to get out and grabs his WWE Title at ringside. Orton is holding the belt and starts heading up the ramp when Batista catches up with him. Batista tosses Orton back in the ring, Orton tries to hit Batista, Batista ducks and hits Orton with a big spinebuster! Orton then attempts an RKO, but Batista counters out. Batista charges attempting a Spear and Orton moves out of the way causing Batista to hit the steel ring post in the corner. Orton attempts an RKO, Batista counters and Orton almost hits the referee. Orton then slaps the referee and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner & STILL WWE Champion: Randy Orton

After the match, Batista can't believe the match is over. Legacy hits the ring and starts beating down Batista. Ric Flair's music hits and Flair runs down taking out Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Batista takes out Orton as well. Flair clears the ring and then gives Batista a hug. Batista smiles and hugs Flair as all three of Legacy head up the ramp with Orton clutching his WWE Title. Flair then holds up Batista's arm in the ring as they celebrate.

John Cena vs. Big Show
The bell rings, Big Show moves forward and John Cena rolls out of the way. Cena favors his ribs after this takes place. Big Show backs Cena to the corner and Cena lands a big kick. Cena attempts this a second time, but Big Show holds on and hits a big punch to the ribs. Big Show continues to do this hitting repeated punches to Cena's ribs. Cena attempts a flying shoulder block, but Big Show doesn't move and Cena hits the mat hard. Big Show then stands over Cena's chest before the referee breaks it up. Big Show with a big scoop slam on Cena. Cena attempts a comeback, but ends up running right into a big side slam from Big Show. Big Show charges at Cena and Big Show gets caught up on the top rope almost crotching himself. Cena then charges and Big Show tosses him over the top rope to the outside. Big Show picks up Cena and drives him chest first into the steel ring post. The referee then starts the count. Both return to the ring and Big Show attempts to apply a camel clutch, but Cena quickly gets away. Big Show with a huge chop to the chest of Cena. Big Show then hits another big punch to the ribs of Cena. Big Show then gets a bear hug applied on Cena. Cena is able to power out, but Big Show sends him chest first into the corner and Cena bounces off.

Big Show then charges and connects with a body splash right into Cena in the corner. Big Show then irish whips Cena with force to the other corner. Big Show then misses a body splash when Cena moves out of the way. Cena hits the ropes and takes out the legs of Big Show. Cena with a blockbuster on Big Show and then calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena hits it, but Big Show is back up, attempts a chokeslam, but Cena counters into a DDT. Cena then jumps on Big Show's back, tries to lock on an STF, but Big Show avoids it and then levels Cena with a big clothesline. Big Show drags Cena near the corner, goes up on the second turnbuckle, jumps off and connects with a huge body splash. Big Show covers and Cena somehow kicks out after two. Big Show can't believe it and kicks Cena. Big Show then stands over Cena, goes up top on the opposite corner, jumps off and this time Cena moves out of the way. Cena then goes for the STF and again can't get it locked on as Big Show kicks him away. Cena gets caught up in the ropes as Big Show lifts him back up on the ring apron. Cena backs off and kicks Big Show in the head. Cena is up top and connects with a flying leg drop on Big Show. Cena attempts the STF for a third time and Big Show elbows Cena in the face repeatedly.

Big Show then gets Cena up for a powerbomb, but instead drops him back face first onto the mat. Big Show calls for the finish clinching his fist. Cena is up, Big Show misses his right hand, Cena has Big Show up on his shoulders and connects with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena covers and gets the pinfall.

Winner: John Cena

After the match, John Cena slowly sits up and is holding his ribs. Cena leaves the ring and celebrates his win with Alfonso Soriano at ringside. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Cena continues to celebrate his win as he heads to the back.

- A video package airs highlighting the events between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Jeff Hardy leading into tonight's WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

Edge (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Ross said Edge was as well received tonight as Obama was at Notre Dame. Edge came out first. Jeff Hardy came out with his face painted. Scott Armstrong is the referee for the main event.

Hardy did a summersault over the top rope onto Edge on the outside. Edge speared Hardy from the ring apron to the arena floor.

Hardy went to the top rope, but a crash and burn as Edge moved out of the way.

Sharpshooter by Hardy, but Edge was able to make it to the ropes for the break. Twist of fate by Hardy, but Edge kicked out at two.

On the outside, Hardy rammed Edge into the exposed security wall. Hardy ran across the top of the security wall to land on Edge on the announce table, but Edge speared him. The referee started to count as Hardy tried to make it back into the ring.

Twist of fate followed by a leg drop, but Edge got his foot on the bottom rope to break the count. Whisper in the wind, but again a two count.

Hardy jumped off the ring steps on the outside, and knocked Edge (and himself) into the front row. From behind, Matt Hardy knocked down Jeff with his cast. Edge brought Hardy into the ring, but only a two count.
