– The Slammer wrestling column in the New York Daily News ran a story today on Ric Flair that quoted the Nature Boy as saying "The decision (to leave Ring Of Honor) was mine alone. Nothing against ROH, but I decided you can't serve two masters, and my loyalty lies with the WWE. I feel very comfortable being there."

Regarding another match, Flair said "Well, let me say that under very special conditions I would consider wrestling again." The Slammer isn't the most reliable source so take it for what it's worth.

– There is a WWE Supershow this weekend, with all three brands involved on Saturday, June 6th at the Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. The show will be headlined by the six-man tag of John Cena, Jeff Hardy & CM Punk vs. Randy Orton, Edge and Rey Mysterio.

– On this date in 2000, Eric Bischoff defeated Terry Funk for the WCW Hardcore Title in Atlanta, Georgia. The match started with Ernest Miller attacking Funk while Bischoff did a karate demonstration. Funk came back and battled both men back to the locker room, before bringing Eric back out in a wheelbarrow and DDTing Miller on the entrance ramp. However, Vince Russo sent out Big Vito and Johnny The Bull, who beat down Funk and enabled Bischoff to get the win.
