Umaga Turning Down Indy Dates, Batista's Situation, Lots More

As noted earlier, to clarify – Batista was legit injured and did have surgery but there are those within the company who feel that even though the injury is legit and surgery did take place, there is more to the story.

As noted earlier, Edge was scheduled to appear at live events in Binghamton, New York and Hershey, Pennsylvania this weekend, but his name has been removed from the advertised list of stars on WWE.com. The official website of The Giant Center in Hershey is advertising a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight between Jeff Hardy, CM Punk and Edge for Sunday's show. Christian's name was also removed from the listings on WWE.com, although that is likely as a result of his title loss at Extreme Rules. The Giant Center website has Tommy Dreamer defending the ECW Championship against Jack Swagger. Umaga's name was also removed from the event listings on WWE.com, although he was released on Monday.

According to a northeast indy promoter, Eddie Fatu (Umaga in WWE) is turning down independent dates at this time.

IGN.com currently has an article up called "Big Stars, Bad Gimmicks", which look at some of the embarrassing gimmicks some of the more popular wrestlers have had. Raven, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are all discussed.
