- A video package airs highlighting the recent events between Randy Orton and Triple H leading into tonight's "3 Stages of Hell" match with the first fall being a normal wrestling match, the second fall being a Falls Count Anywhere match and the third fall being a Stretcher match if needed.

Cole said this is Hunter's third three stages of hell match. Hunter beat both Austin and HBK in the previous two.

FIRST FALL – TRADITIONAL WRESTLING MATCH – ORTON WON THE FIRST FALL VIA DQ WHEN HUNTER USED A CHAIR. After the DQ, Hunter continued to nail Orton with the chair.
SECOND FALL – FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE – Triple H hits a pedigree on the floor, and pinned Orton at 6:12.
THIRD FALL – A STRETCHER MATCH – Hunter wheeled Orton up, but Orton stopped him just in time to save his championship.

Orton and Hunter brawled into the crowd. Orton rammed Hunter into the ring steps.
Orton brought the ring steps into the ring, but Hunter tripped Orton and hit the steps face first. Hunter hit Orton with the ring steps, and placed him on the stretcher. Hunter wheeled the stretcher up the ramp, but Orton came up and stopped Trips.
Orton DDT-ed Hunter on the floor. Orton went to kick Hunter, but Trips moved out of the way. Hunter went for the pedigree, but Orton reversed it, landing Hunter on the stretcher. Orton tried to wheel the stretcher up the ramp and moved it close to the yellow line, but Hunter fell of the stretcher.
On the ramp, Orton went for the RKO, but Hunter through Orton into the stage. Hunter pedigreed Orton on the floor. Hunter put Orton on the stretcher, but Cody blocked him inches away. Hunter beat down Cody, and went to try it again, but this time DiBiase blocks Hunter. Cody and Ted beat down Hunter, and help up Orton. Triple H bring out the sledgehammer and nail Cody and Ted. Orton kicks Hunter in the groin and hits Hunter with a piece of the stage. Orton puts Hunter on the stretcher and pushes him over the yellow line to win the third fall, and win the series 2 to 1 at 21:22 to remain WWE champion.
