Bret Hart Speaks On Undertaker, Cena/Batista, WCW & More
Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Tomo Eyre for sending this in:
Just got back from the Bret Hart Q&A session in Sheffield. The legend covered all sorts of topics. He said he thinks he could have a good match with Cena or Batista or at least make them look better than they ever have. Would liked to have worked with Mysterio and Orton.
Mentioned that Undertaker clearly stole the show at Mania and acknowledged HBKs input in the match saying they both deserve the credit.
Claims WCW was the least organized company he's ever worked for no matter who was in charge.
Would consider a opening a wrestling school somewhere down the line if he could hire the right people.
When asked about how he'd feel about his sons getting involved he said he doesn't push for it or against it but thinks both of them would be great and would love to see them kick HBKs ass.
When a fan called HBK a 'Tosser' he said he didn't know what it meant but you'd get no arguments from him.
Was asked by WWE if, when it came to the time, he'd like to induct Owen and said yes and doesn't understand why it's still not happened yet and how the 10 year anniversary this year would have made sense.
Told a funny story about Davey Boy rushing to get a plane that he and Owen managed to catch and get moved up to 1st class and had the stewards shoo Davey Boy back to his seat when he tried to come and talk to them.
He said how when he first got into WWF. How he saw kids run up to people, he mentioned Tito Santana, wanting autographs and they'd turn them away. That he thought then if he ever gets to the stage where people want his autograph, he'd never turn them away (including a 5 year old handing him a pen and paper under the toilet door).
He then took photos with all fans that wanted them and signed anything they wanted signing. Enjoyed this much more than when Flair ignored me at his book signing. Bret really is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be!
