The Sun in the UK has an interview up with TNA star Abyss. Here are some of the highlights. On having a match with Mick Foley in TNA: "I'd love to work with Mick some day. It would be a dream match for me. If you asked me who my dream opponent would be, right now, I'd say him. Without a doubt. And you never know what the future holds, we may do it. I personally think the fans would really like to see it. It would be a heck of a draw." On going through a flaming table at Bound For Glory: "I don't know if there's a way you can prepare for it, you just kinda block it out and hope to God. Entering a match like that, it's not a matter of if I'm going to get hurt ? it's just a matter of how bad. When Team 3D put me through that fire table at Bound For Glory last year that's the most intense pain, as a shoot, that I've ever felt in my life. I'm not in a hurry to do that again. I had severe burns on my lower back, the impact really hurt and being put out by a fire extinguisher is never the best feeling in the world." On being approached by WWE to make the jump: "I've had opportunities to go there. That I can count for sure, there's been three opportunities to leave and go. There was high interest from WWE, but I just haven't had any interest in going. I'm one of the originals, I've been with TNA since the one year anniversary of the company. And very few people in this business can say they've been there from the beginning."
