This morning, former WWE & ECW Champion Rob Van Dam appeared on on MSNBC's Morning Meeting show to debate the legalization of Marijuana. RVD was opposed by Barry McCaffrey, a a former national drug policy adviser and U.S. Army general. RVD argued marijuana use should be legalized, taxed and regulated by the federal government similar to how alcohol is handled. He said legalization would pump "billions of dollars" into the U.S. economy. RVD also criticized the government's anti-marijuana policy as a bunch of lies. Yesterday afternoon, Jerry "The King" Lawler appeared on WGKS-FM KIX 106 (Memphis) and officially announced that he is going to run in the City of Memphis' special mayoral election. The election will be held this October after Mayor Willie Herenton recent resignation goes into effect tomorrow.
