The Latest On Matt Hardy's Injury & Return Date

Matt Hardy underwent his abdominal surgery on July 2nd, according to the UK Sun. He's expected be out of action for eight-to-ten weeks.

Although Hardy hasn't specifically commented on the surgery, he updated his MySpace blog the day before the surgery, saying

Although Hardy has yet to comment specifically on the surgery, he did update his Myspace page the day before surgery: "The Hurdle awaits. And I'm ready to cross it, jump it, or plow over it. Either way, I'm excited to enter into a new, better, chapter of my life and career. [..] Get ready, cause when I re-debut on Smackdown, nothing's gonna stop me in the ring or in life."

This injury is a tough break for Hardy, as he had just made a full recovery from his broken hand.
