Backstage Note From RAW, 'Mania Special, Lita, Dana Not Happy With UFC 102, More
Raymond sent word that the WrestleMania 25th Anniversary special didn't air on NBC in the Paducah, Kentucky area due to NFL preseason football. We are aware of other markets the show didn't air in such as New York. While a final rating isn't known yet, we do know the show drew 3.97 million viewers and finished third in its timeslot.
Aaron Spiess sent this along: On the 8/30/01 Episode of HBO's hit series True Blood, a clip of WWE Raw was shown being watched by one of the show's character's. The clip showed for a few seconds on the show was the match a few weeks back between John Cena and Jack Swagger from RAW. Could this be a sign that one of the future guest host's of RAW could be one of the True Blood cast members?
I can now confirm that Angela Fong, who has been doing the ring announcing at WWE live events is backstage at RAW in Detroit, Michigan today.
