WWE To Throw Hollywood Parties?, Dibiase, McCool's Injury, More

WWE is scheduled to be throwing a number of Hollywood parties in conjunction with SummerSlam on August 23 in Los Angeles as a way to help garner new media partners and even sponsors.

DaytonKain sent this in: The WWE is filming ECW & Smackdown on August 18th in Kansas City and they have just done a commercial promoting the event that features Hardy vs. Punk in a Steel Cage Match for the World Title.

Jeff sent this in: Monday Night Raw at Mohegan Sun Arena, for this Monday, has been sold out for the last two weeks. According to both Ticketmaster and the arena box office.

Mike McMahon sent this in: "Just a note, the injury didn't occur outside the ring, McCool rolled to the outside after a rollup attempt by Torres and rolled to the outside after a lazy kickout (my guess is she was hurt sometime before or during the rollup, because after Torres basically stood up instead of McCool kicking out, McCool rolled to the outside).

The main event for the live show during the NWA Legends convention next week in Charlotte, NC will be a first ever meeting of Abdullah the Butcher vs. Steve Corino. 2 Cold Scorpio will also be working the event.

The Marine 2, which stars Ted Dibiase, will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on 12/29/09.
