Bad Press For Linda McMahon, Lilian Garcia Thanks WWE Universe, More
After ten-plus years with World Wrestling Entertainment, the one and only Lilian Garcia thanked the WWE Universe and informed everyone that Monday was her final night greeting fans, belting out the national anthem and announcing the start of matches. In case you missed her heartfelt and emotional goodbye last night on Raw, you can see the video clip at WWE.com.
The AP has an article today on Linda McMahon's Senatorial bid, noting that although she helped formed WWE's "SmackDown! Your Vote" campaign, she herself actually missed voting in several elections, including last year's presidential primary. However, it should be noted that McMahon admitted her mistake in a blog post on her campaign website last week.
In a somewhat unusual move, Linda McMahon's Senate campaign is already sending out full-color fliers that are much bigger than the postcard-sized fliers politicians usually send out. This is also very early to begin sending out this type of material as the primary isn't even taking place until the second quarter of 2010.
