? Vince McMahon is said to be more focused on the RAW program than ever before, and giving less time to SmackDown and ECW. There's a lot of frustration within WWE regarding the shaky status of MyNetwork TV going forward, and as a result, SmackDown isn't commanding as much of Vince's attention as it has in the past. There are some weeks where lead SmackDown writer Michael Hayes spends as little as 20 to 30 minutes running the show by Vince.
? John Morrison's critically panned promos he's been cutting lately were done exactly they way he was scripted and instructed to do by WWE management, and he has not been allowed to come up with his own material.
? The live backstage skit with Triple H and Shawn Michaels on the Aug. 24 episode of RAW was Stephanie McMahon's idea. Normally, those skits are pre-taped. This was the segment with all the background noise that forced the DX members to improvise and yell over it. Vince was furious about it and said something along the lines of there's a reason why they pre-tape those things.
