Ben Roethlisberger-RAW News, Carwin-Lesnar, Matt Hardy Fans Are Crazy, More

– TimesOnline.com has an interview up with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger where he defends his decision to host this week's WWE Monday Night Raw in Wilkes-Barre, PA despite some outcry in the media. Roethlisberger added, "I got asked to do it. Vince McMahon asked me to do it, and I said, 'Sure, why not?' I mean, it's our off day. I talked to (Tomlin) about it. I didn't really ask for his permission. I talked to him about it to get a feel for if he was going to have a big problem with it. I figured he tell me. But like I said, it's our off day."

– According to an article by PittsburghLive.com, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be joined by teammates Trai Essex, Justin Hartwig, Chris Kemoeatu and Willie Colon when he host WWE Monday Night Raw next week in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

diegov211 sent this in: I don't know if this is news or noteworthy, but while I was watching last Sunday's NFL game between the Jets and Titans, 2 fans were shown wearing all green Rey Mysterio masks during the 1st half of the game.

FightLine.com has an article with quotes from Shane Carwin, who faces Brock Lesnar at UFC 106. Carwin said that he is hoping to inflict the "bad kind of hurt" on Lesnar during their fight, stating "I am ready. I wish I could kick his ass tomorrow." – Several of you Matt Hardy fans are crazy. The backstage heat on him is 100% legit. It's interesting to note how many Hardy fans have emailed over the last few days with outrage over the reports. I can understand why some fans would be upset to learn that there is legit heat on him but it is what it is. We're just reporting what we've heard from sources. I'm sure another batch of 'hate mail' is about to come in again.
