The 2010 Royal Rumble, Lawler/WWE Storyline, Kozlov, HBK
As noted earlier here on the website, Jerry Lawler was scheduled for an indy date in New York on November 21, five days after they shot an angle on RAW at Madison Square Garden where he was taken out by Sheamus. According to a source, Lawler's people sent a text message saying "due to an ongoing storyline, Jerry Lawler can't make his appearance." The worst part was they ended up dropping the angle completely with Lawler giving a half hearted explanation on the air the following week and how he would now stay away from Sheamus.
The 2010 WWE Royal Rumble DVD will be released in both standard and Blu-Ray formats. This will be the first event released in the U.S. to get the treatment, that is not a WrestleMania DVD.
In March, WWE will release a three-DVD set, dedicated to a countdown of Shawn Michaels and his greatest 25 matches.

SITE NOTE: It's been real busy around here lately with the sad and untimely passing of Eddie 'Umaga' Fatu as well as the news on Saturday night of a three-hour TNA iMPACT! special on January 4th going head-to-head with RAW. I expect this coming week to be a big one as well before we calm things down for Christmas. As always, we want to thank you for your support of the website. Traffic has been extremely high in recent days and we want to thank you all for that. There would be no us without you! THANK YOU!!
