WWE has come to terms on the release of Smackdown superstar Eric Escobar as of Jan. 17, 2010. WWE wishes Eric all the best in his future endeavors.

- Eric Escobar was best known for his tenure as Vickie Guerrero's "boyfriend" on the SmackDown brand. After they split up, Escobar often poked fun of Guerrero's looks and weight. As a result, she often stacked the deck against him in matches that he lost.
