Regarding US Democratic Senator Chris Dodd bowing out of the Senate race next year, Republican candidate Linda McMahon had this to say, "From the beginning, I had doubts about whether he would run. I'm not totally surprised. I had doubts he would run. The poll numbers [for Dodd] we were seeing were low. So while I'm not totally surprised, it clearly does not change my strategy."
Ric Flair apparently signed a deal with TNA wrestling just days before the big Monday show on January 4th. Apparently, his deal with TNA is just for 65 appearances over a one year period. The blief is that he will be working on a guaranteed money deal and would still be able to book his own outside appearances whether it be public appeareances or business deals. Reports that suggested that Flair's deal was through Panda Energy rather than TNA are not confirmed at this time.
