– Ring of Honor has announced the first round matches and bracket for the ROH TV Title tournament. The matches will take place during the next set of TV taping, which will be held on February 5th and 6th. * Kevin Steen vs. Rhett Titus * Colt Cabana vs. Eddie Edwards * Davey Richards vs. Delirious * El Generico vs. Kenny King
– Scheduled for the March 26th Dragon Gate USA show is Phoenix, Arizona is DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate champion BxB Hulk vs. Davey Richards. That show will be a DVD taping.
– The March 27th Dragon Gate USA event will be a PPV taping.
– While DGUSA initially wanted to run 6-events a year, they have announced that they will run more double shot weekends. The strategy here is that they will be doing what they do on WrestleMania weekend, run one show as a DVD taping, and one as a PPV taping. They would be able to sell the DVD taping right away as they wait for the PPV to air, which they cannot sell on DVD until it airs on PPV.
– Nick and Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks, may not be at the WrestleMania DGUSA weekend shows. It sounds like TNA wants the team to work house shows that weekend, but as of today, DG: USA is still advertising them for their shows. The team was booked for the DG: USA shows before they signed up with TNA.
– DGUSA's return to the Congress Theater in Chicago drew in the 500-550 area, which the company considered a disappointment.
– Tommy Dreamer was said to have gotten a great reaction from the Chicago DGUSA crowd last weekend. His segment, which also included Brian Kendrick, may not be a part of the PPV when it airs.
– WWE The Music Volume 10: A New Day gets released on Thursday, January 28th. The album will be available for download via Amazon.com for $3.99 until February 1st. After that, the price goes up. Here's the full listing:
