Chris Jericho (c) vs. Edge
Edge got the early advantage and went for the spear early, but Jericho rolled outside of the ring. Jericho gained the advantage as Edge was getting back into the ring with a sliding dropkick to Edge.
The two then traded the advantage several times. Crowd was quiet for this match too, although both men are working hard.
At one point in the match Jericho went for a codebreaker, but Edge was able to push him off into the corner. Edge then went for a spear, but Jericho dodged and grabbed Edge, and then turned him into the Walls of Jericho. Edge was able to counter the hold into a small package for a two count. Jericho then went for a lionsault, but Edge countered again for a two count.
Jericho kicked Edge in the head to regain the advantage. He then charged Edge, but Edge hit Jericho with the impaler DDT for a two count. Jericho put his knees up when Edge charged at him to regain the advantage.
Jericho then motioned for the spear, hoping to put Edge away with his own move. As Jericho charged, Edge kicked Jericho. Edge then went for the spear, but was met with a codebreaker. Jericho was slow to make a cover, and only got a two count. Jericho covered again for another two. Jericho then focused his attack on Edge's left leg and then went for the Walls again, and eventually turned it into a single leg crab on Edge's injured left leg. Jericho held it in for awhile, but Edge was finally able to make it to the bottom rope. Edge quickly rolled Jericho for a two count, then clotheslined Jericho outside of the ring.
Jericho grabbed the belt outside of the ring, and Edge tried to bring Jericho back into the ring but inadvertently hit the referee. With the referee out, Jericho hit Edge with the belt. The ref recovered and Jericho covered Edge, but only got two to the delight of the crowd. Jericho then hit the codebreaker on Edge and covered him to get the three count.
Winner via pinfall and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho.
After the match, Jericho tried to attack Edge's leg, but Edge recovered and went ballistic. Edge put Jericho on one of the announce tables, then climbed on to the other one, and speared Jericho off the table through the ringside barricade.
