7-11/SSlam, Maria's CD Released, SmackDown's Future, Bruno, & More
– Once again, 7-11 will be the official sponsor of SummerSlam and will be doing promotion for the show, including the Slurpee cups to collect.
– Maria Kanellis' CD, Seven Sins, has been released on iTunes.
– Stevie J. sent this along: Even though the move theoretically costs Smackdown 13 million homes, it's worth noting two things that offset this change: MyNetwork television was never carried on DirecTV, and SyFy doesn't carry sporting events on Friday nights. That means (1.) no preemptions and (2.) the MyNetwork audience of 103 million homes didn't include 18 million homes reached by DirecTV. -13 million, +18 million, and no preemptions means a net gain of 5 million and more viewers since even on a theoretically bad night for wrestling they won't get bumped any more.
– The Allied News out of Grove City, PA has an article up on Bruno Sammartino being honored by the Dapper Dan organization.
