Cena's Next Opponent, WWE In Canada, Lawler Draws WWE Comic Cover & More
– The WWE is advertising John Cena vs. The Big Show as the main event for upcoming house shows at the end of May and early June. The ads advertising the match are running in Columbia, SC and Memphis, TN, amongst other markets. (Thanks to Marquise Lopez and Sean Pierce).
– The WWE will be running Canada next month from May 14-18. Tickets for all shows are available at LavaTickets.com. To show just how hot UFC tickets are in Canada as compared to WWE, tickets for UFC 115 in Vancouver in June sold out in just 30 minutes last Monday, making it the fastest sellout in UFC history. The sellout breaks the record set by UFC 83 in Montreal.
– To celebrate the launch of Titan Publishing's WWE Heroes comic series, an exclusive cover drawn by WWE legend Jerry 'The King' Lawler has been released. The cover features Triple H and The Undertaker, and is available to order exclusively at the WWE.com official shop. This isn't the first time that Lawler designed artwork for comics. In 2007, Lawler provided a cover for the comic book series 'Headlocked' and earlier this year teamed up with writer/director Kevin Smith, to help revitalize the iconic comic figure, 'The Green Hornet.' You can view the cover on our Facebook Group by clicking here.
