Edge vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho was stalling outside the cage, so Edge attacked Jericho outside the cage and threw him in. Jericho immediately went to climb over the cage, but Edge pulled him down. Edge dominated the opening minutes of the match, and Jericho would try to escape from the cage anytime he got the advantage.

Jericho was able to gain the advantage and both men would trade the advantage several times. At one point Jericho was able to get Edge in the Walls. Edge was able to get the ropes, but Jericho didn't have to break since it's no DQ. Edge powered out of the move and threw Jericho into the cage and got a two count.

Moments later, Edge had Jericho in position for a spear and motioned for it, but as he went for it, Jericho bailed for the door but Edge caught him. Jericho was able to drag a chair into the cage with him and nailed Edge with it. He started to walk out of the stairs outside the ring, but saw the chair in the cage and decided to go back in.

Jericho got the chair and went to nail Edge with it, but Edge ducked and hit a spear, but was only able to get a two count. Edge slowly got back to his feet, but Jericho nailed a codebreaker and made a slow cover, and Edge was able to kick out at two. Jericho covered again for another two. Jericho then started to climb out of the cage but Edge caught him and dragged him back into the cage. They traded punches on the top rope, which dropped Edge crotch first on the top rope. Jericho then proceeded to climb out of the cage, but Edge caught him again and Edge climbed to the top of the cage and dragged Jericho to the top with him. The traded punches while sitting on top of the cage, and Jericho headed back into the ring. Jericho springboarded to the top rope and nailed a codebreaker, and both men are down. Jericho was finally able to make a cover, but only got two!

Jericho kept yelling at Edge to stay down. Jericho clipped Edge's leg and grabbed a chair. He went to hit Edge's leg but Edge moved, and proceeded to throw Jericho face first into both sides of the cage. Jericho made another getaway by trying to climb over the top, but was again caught by Edge, who threw Jericho down to the mat. Edge climbed down and punched away at Jericho. Edge worked over Jericho's leg while having a crazy look on his face. The crowd seems to have lost interest at this point, and with 30 minutes remaining of PPV time, it's obvious the main event won't be that long. Edge then motioned for the spear and was able to connect, and got the three count for a big pop.

Edge defeated Chris Jericho via pinfall.
