? As noted earlier, The London Free Press has a story on 23-year-old Laura "Cherry Bomb" Dennis, a women's wrestler from Canada. It would appear that a tryout is in store for Dennis as she was contacted by WWE's talent relations to show up at the Monday Night Raw show taking place on May 17 at the Air Canada Centre. "All they told me was be there and bring my ring gear," she said. "That's all I know. I don't have any expectations."

? Yet again, USA won the prime time cable ratings battle last week, this time by a smaller margin than usual. USA averaged a 2.3, with TNT averaging a 2.2 and ESPN at 1.9. Syfy was at 18 with a 0.8, and Spike was at 21 with 0.7. The NFL Draft did a 5.3 rating and was the biggest draw of the week. For the first time in a very long time, neither hour of Raw was in the overall top 10, or the top ten for the 18-34 and 18-49 age groups. Shows beating Raw included NCIS, Pawn Stars and Spongebob Squarepants as well as a LA Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA playoff game.
? The UK ratings for the week ending April 18 show iMPACT! with 63,000 viewers for the first airing and 40,000 for the replay. RAW drew 137,000 viewers live and SmackDown! had 102,000 viewers for the first run.
