– Today, Jakks Pacific founder Jack Friedman passed away at the age of 70. In the 80s, Friedman founded the LJN company, which produced the WWF rubber action figures. In the mid-90s, Jakks picked up the WWE action figure line and carried that until this year. Jakks currently produces the TNA, UFC and NWA Legends figures.

– Florida Championship Wrestling will have several appearances and autograph signings by WWE stars during the summer. Matt Hardy, Ted DiBiase Sr., Irwin R. Shyster/Mike Rotunda, Dusty Rhodes, Goldust and Cody Rhodes will all be a part of the signings during the summer. There will also be a very rare appearance by The Undertaker.

Joe Evans sent this one along: At yesterday's house show in Knoxville, TN, an elderly woman was ejected from the show after slapping CM Punk. Joe Evens writes: "Punk was getting heat and this woman just walked up to him, told him he wasn't Jesus and wailed away with a hard slap. Punk smiled and told her he forgave her while security pulled her out of the show, then genuflected, making it even more insanely funny. The guy didn't lose a step from it either."
