– As noted earlier, Linda McMahon's likely opponent in the Connecticut Senate race, Democrat front runner Richard Blumenthal, is involved in a scandal about lying about being a Vietnam war veteran. McMahon spokesman Ed Patru said that the issue "has raised a litany of very troubling questions, and they are questions that cannot be dismissed or easily answered."

FOXNews.com is reporting that Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Communications Director Eric Schultz took a shot back at McMahon saying, "It's no surprise Republicans would want to smear Dick Blumenthal, considering all of the debauchery at the WWF under Linda McMahon's watch," Schultz said.
