The Great Khali Causes A Riot, The Anti-Diva, IC Title Update
– This is just a guess but I'm thinking Maria gets eliminated from Celebrity Apprentice tonight. Sorry, I'm addicted to that show.
– WWE's Intercontinental Title was declared vacant on Friday night's SmackDown after Teddy Long "fired" the former Champion Drew McIntyre. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes vs. Christian took place Friday night in a one-night tournament with Kofi and Christian advancing. The two will face on next week's SmackDown! to crown a new Intercontinental Champion. Of course, the show will be taped this Tuesday night.
– WWE is now calling Serena of the Straight Edge Society "The Anti-Diva."
– The Great Khali was scheduled to attend a charity wrestling event called "War of the Champions" in India, but when he did not show up a riot ensued. The wrestling ring, a big screen and some other stadium property was damaged in the riot. The event's promoters say that Khali could not be in attendance due to a contracted appearance on a sports channel, but Khali's reps say that the promoters were told 10 days in advance that Khali could not attend, and the money he had been paid was returned to them. However, the promoters continued to advertise Khali for the event, for "reasons best known to them."
