TNA To Debut A 'Hardcore Title'?, Daniels-TNA Update, IMPACT!

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

? Despite parting ways not long ago, TNA is said to be trying to sign Christopher Daniels back as we noted earlier here on the website. The main difference now is that he would be offered a per-event deal as opposed to a guaranteed deal. Daniels was among a few higher paid guys on the roster and wasn't being used at the level of some of the talent under long term deals. There was said to be a pretty negative reaction within the company over his release. Whether or not Daniels will accept the new deal remains to be seen.

? Desmond Wolfe is back in the lead on the TNA Contender poll. Apparently one voter set up a method that allowed him to vote for Wolfe every second for several hours. SPOILER WARNING... The vote does not seem relevant this week, as Jeff Hardy will be announced as the poll winner on next Thursday's Impact. END OF SPOILER WARNING.

? TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that TNA could be dipping into the nineties well again as there has been talk of changing the Global Championship currently held by Rob Terry to a "Hardcore" title. Stay tuned.
