WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre (c)

Kofi took the early advantage with kicks, and hit a dive on McIntyre from inside the ring to the outside. McIntyre gained the advantage after ramming his back into the post. McIntyre maintained the advantage with submission holds and working over Kofi's midsection. Fans are chanting "Kofi," and it seems like the move to SmackDown! has done him well.

Later in the match, Kofi went for Trouble In Paradise, but McIntyre reversed and went for Futureshock, but Kofi reversed it into the SOS and got the pin. Good opener, and fans were into Kofi.

Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre via pinfall to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

After the match, McIntyre grabbed the mic and said that the PPV stops right now until Teddy Long reverses the decision and declares him the Intercontinental Champion. Matt Hardy's music hit, and he hit the ring and hit a twist of fate on McIntyre and left him laying.

Backstage CM Punk is with the SES. Punk is talking to a mirror, doing the "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest..." bit. Punk says that Rey Mysterio will be joining them tonight and that they will be giving birth to straight edge Mysterio. Punk gave Gallows a creepy hug to end the segment.

R-Truth vs. Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil)

R-Truth took the early advantage and worked over DiBiase with punches and kicks before taking the match outside the ring. Truth had words with Virgil before taking the match back to DiBiase.

Back in the ring, Virgil provided another distraction allowing DiBiase to gain the advantage. DiBiase stayed on offense until Truth blocked a double axehandle from the top rope. Truth built momentum with clotheslines and a hip toss, and managed to get a two count. He went for his kick, but Dibiase was able to dodge it.

Truth stayed on offense, scoring several two counts in the process. Truth then hit the lie detector on Dibiase and got the three count! Decent match, the ending kind of came out of nowhere.

R-Truth defeated Ted Dibiase via pinfall.

Backstage Drew McIntyre demanded Teddy Long to reverse the decision and then fire Matt Hardy. Long said "No," and McIntyre went on to destroy Long's office. He was going to destroy the picture of Martin Luther King Jr., and Long asked him to stop. McIntyre said he wouldn't because MLK was a revolutionary like himself, and that he was more like MLK than Long is.

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
SES Pledge vs. Punk's Hair

They setup a barber's chair at ringside. Punk got the early advantage, and backdropped Mysterio outside of the ring. Mysterio hit a hurricaranna outside of the ring and drove Punk face first into the barricade. Back in the ring, Punk regained the advantage and threw Mysterio out of the ring face first into the barber's chair outside the ring. Punk was busted open, and the referee paused the match to wipe the blood off of Punk. Another official came in to close the cut on Punk's forehead as Mysterio recovered outside of the ring.

Mysterio got back in the ring while Punk was still being attended to. The fans started chanting "Boring." Punk quickly got back on offense as soon as the match was started and threw Mysterio out of the ring. He threw Mysterio into the barricade and suplexed him on the floor before getting him back into the ring and applying s body triangle.

Mysterio was able to briefly get in some offense before Punk regained control. Punk dropped forearms to Mysterio's chest. On a side note, Jerry Lawler seems legitimately very annoyed with Matt Striker on commentary.

Later in the match, Mysterio went for a 619, but Punk reversed it into a backbreaker and got a two count. Punk went for GTS, but Mysterio countered but Punk caught him in a powerbomb and dropped him into the corner. Punk then hit a bulldog from the top rope for another two count. Punk landed a variety of kicks for another two count.

The finish of the match saw Mysterio finally hitting the 619 on his third attempt, but missed the follow up splash. Punk was going to roll on Mysterio for a cover, but Mysterio scissored Punk's arms and rolled him up for a three count. Another good match.

Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk.

After the match, the SES entered the ring and beat down Mysterio. They were going to handcuff Mysterio to the ropes, but Kane's music hit and he got to the ring and cleared it of the SES. Mysterio then handcuffed Punk to the ropes and proceeded to shave his head bald. Serena ran down to the ring and covered Punk's head with a towel but Mysterio came back with a mirror and had Punk look at himself, and Punk started flipping out while remaining handcuffed to the ropes.

They plugged next month's Fatal 4 Way, and they said that all the matches will be Fatal 4 Way matches.

Chris Jericho approached Big Show backstage and said that he was the dead weight of their team. Jericho said they were going to become tag champs and Show was going to be left with nothing. Miz came behind Show, and Show told Jericho that he and Miz better get out of there before he knocked them both out. Kind of a pointless segment.

Chris Jericho & The Miz vs. The Hart Dynasty (c)
WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match

Dynasty started the match dominating the Miz, with Smith hitting the prolonged suplex on Miz. He pressed Kidd onto Jericho and Miz outside of the ring and were able to get a two count back in the ring.

Jericho tagged in and the fans started chanting "Y2J." Jericho managed to get the upper hand for his team and Smith was playing Ricky Morton for awhile while Jericho and Miz took turns beating up on Smith.

Smith was finally able to tag in Kidd, who went to work on Jericho. Kidd managed to get a two count and spring onto Jericho, but Jericho was able to catch him and put him in the walls. Kidd made the ropes to break the hold. Kidd went to spring onto Jericho again from the top rope, but Jericho caught him in mid-air with a codebreaker. He took several moments to make a cover, but was finally able to make it and got a two count.

Kidd was able to tag Smith back in, who cleaned house on Jericho and Miz. Jericho was able to catch Smith into a small package and got a two count. The referee got distracted by the Miz and Natalya tripped Jericho and Smith got Jericho in a powerbomb but got two.

Miz was able to make a blind tag and he and Smith traded several two counts. After a series of near falls, Smith was able to position Miz into a bear hug and tagged in Kidd, who hit the Hart Attack and got the three count. Another good match, although the crowd was quiet for most of it.

The Hart Dynasty defeated Chris Jericho and The Miz to retain the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships.

Edge vs. Randy Orton

Orton got the early advantage until Edge was able to throw Orton into the ring side barrier outside of the ring. Edge then worked on Orton's midsection and left arm for awhile.

Orton was able to turn the tide for a little bit with a suplex from the top rope. They traded punches and Orton got the better of the exchange and gained control of the match for a short period until Edge was able to turn the tables with a boot to the face. Edge setup for a spear as Orton was on the ring apron, but Orton got his knee up and nailed Edge with a DDT, but Edge got his foot on the ropes.

Later in the match Edge went for a spear but was met with a kick from Orton. Orton motioned for an RKO, but he seemed to lose feeling in his right arm, legitimately. It seemed like he hurt his forearm. The referee motioned "X", and Edge rolled to the outside. Orton went and whispered to Edge, who then started kicking Orton outside of the ring. Edge went to spear Orton who was up against the barricade, and Orton moved out of the way while holding on to his right bicep and Edge hit the barricade as the referee counted both men out.

Edge vs. Randy Orton was a draw due to a double countout.

After the match Jerry Lawler speculated that Orton had suffered a shoulder injury, given that Orton has a history of shoulder problems.

Big Show vs. Jack Swagger (c)
World Heavyweight Title Match

Show is playing uber-babyface here, slapping hands with the fans while entering the ring and throwing his shirt to the crowd. Show gained the early advantage. Swagger tried to wrestle Show, but Show was able to reverse Swagger who jumped outside of the ring and acted shocked that Shot out-wrestled him.

Show continued to dominate Swagger back in the ring for several moments until Swagger was able to catch Show when he was coming back in the ring and clotheslined Show on the top rope. Swagger tackled Show and continued to beat down the big man. Swagger went for a cover, but Show kicked out and sent Swagger outside of the ring. Show continued to manhandle Swagger, until Swagger grabbed his belt from outside of the ring and nailed Show with it to get intentionally disqualified. The crowd groaned as the referee called for the bell. Short bad match made worse with the crappy ending.

The Big Show defeated Jack Swagger via disqualification, Swagger retains the World Heavyweight Title.

Swagger continued to beat down Show after the match, and grabbed a chair from outside of the ring. Swagger nailed Show with several shots on his back until Show was able to catch Swagger coming in and nailed a chokeslam. Show then nailed Swagger with the chair and then chokeslammed the champion on the chair. Show finished Swagger off with a big punch and celebrated.

Josh Matthews interviewed Batista backstage. Batista said he had Cena screaming "I Quit" last Monday night, and tonight he will make sure that the world hears it.

Maryse vs. Eve Torres (c)
WWE Divas Title Match

The two had a staredown and Maryse threw Eve shoulder-first into the corner. Maryse dominated Eve for the opening moments of the match, and slapped Eve around while on offense to add insult to injury.

Eve took the advantage after Maryse missed a kick and hit the steel corner. Eve went on offense back in the ring. After trading the advantage several times with several near falls. Eve was able to hit a reverse pedigree and get the win. Another bad match, it's up to Cena and Batista to save the show.

Eve Torres pinned Maryse to retain the WWE Divas Title.

Batista vs. John Cena
I Quit Match for the WWE Title

Batista got on the mic to start and said he was going to give Cena a chance to say "I Quit" to avoid the beatdown he was going to put on Cena. Cena took the mic and said that Batista made his point, and then said, "I... I don't think so." Cena proceeded to nail Batista with the mic and it's on.

Cena threw Batista out of the ring early and went to hit Batista with a chair, but Batista moved out of the way and nailed the steel post. Batista then proceeded to go to work on Cena in the ring. As usual, there are dueling "Let's Go Cena" / "Cena Sucks" chants.

Batista continued to work Cena over, nailing the champ with punches and kicks as well as an occasional suplex. Cena was able to gain control after Batista missed charging him in the corner. Cena hit the "You can't see me" punch and stayed on offense until Batista used the referee as a shield and low-blowed Cena. Batista put Cena in his new submission move, but Cena refused to quit. Cena was able to get to his feet with Batista on his back and broke the hold.

Cena then locked Batista in an STF and Batista got to the ropes but Cena refused to break the hold. Batista passed out and the referee asked him if he quit, but Batista couldn't answer because he was out. Cena grabbed some water fro ringside and threw it on Batista to revive him. Once revived, Batista wouldn't quit. Cena charged at Batista but was met with a spinebuster. Batista hit Cena with a Batista bomb. Batista then went outside of the ring and cleared the announce tables. Batista placed Cena on one of the tables and went for a Batista bomb, but Cena reversed it and got Batista in the Attitude Adjustment, but Batista reversed again and powerslammed him from one table through another.

Cena answered "No," when asked if he quit and the match continues. Batista threw Cena into the barricade and into the fans. Batista proceeded to drag Cena through the stands and threatened to throw Cena over the stands if he didn't quit. Cena said "No," and Batista went to Batista bomb off the railing, but Cena reversed it and punched Batista off of the railing into the fans. Batista refused to quit and Cena started brawling with Batista back to the ring.

Batista and Cena ended up back towards the entrance and Batista nailed Cena with a couple of chair shots to the back. Batista continued to wail away on Cena with chair shots to the back, but Cena wouldn't quit. Batista got into a car at ringside that was a prop, and went to back into Cena and hit the stage. Cena apparently rolled out of the way, as he got up on the car and then started to punch away on Batista. He nailed the Attitude Adjustment on the hood of the car, but Batista wouldn't quit. Cena said that he was hoping that Batista would say that and Cena took Batista took the top of the car and setup the Attitude Adjustment. Before Cena could hit it, Batista quit. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment anyway, and Batista went through the floor.

John Cena defeated Batista to retain the WWE Championship.

As Cena was celebrating after the match, Sheamus ran in and hit Cena with a big boot to the head and laid the champion out to end the show.
