– It has been announced that Karen Angle will be appearing at the NWA Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, NC in August. Also scheduled for the event are The Assassin, Joe Blanchard, Tully Blanchard, Jerry Brown, "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase, Dory Funk Jr., Terry Funk, Danny Hodge, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Rocky Johnson, Kimala "The Ugandan Giant", Mr. Wrestling II, Nikita Koloff, Reggie Parks, Harley Race, Buddy Roberts, Billy Robinson, Jim Ross, Dan "The Beast" Severn, and Greg Valentine.

– On August 18th, the WWE returns to Hawaii at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tickets for the event will go on sale June 26th at 9AM.

– Carl Lewis, 58, was charged with murder in connection with the car crash that caused the death of 22-year old Kentucky independent wrestler Glenn "Ice Pick" Russell last April. Russell died when he was involved in a four-car pileup, which Lewis caused when he was driving under the influence. Lewis was also been charged with four counts of wanton endangerment.
