More On Jerry Lawler's Lawsuit, NXT News, The Stro Update

– WMC-TV in Memphis did an interview with Jerry Lawler regarding his lawsuit against former Memphis Wrestling commentator and announcer Cory Maclin. In the interview, Lawler says the suit came about as a result of Maclin selling the Memphis Wrestling tape library without involving Lawler, and without Lawler giving up his trademark rights on the library. Highspots.com bought the library and has so far released 20 DVDs with footage from various eras. Sources say that Lawler did not know that any footage had been sold, and was not happy when he found out. "Somehow, Corey sold for apparently $20,000, the rights to all my copyrighted video library, and these guys he's sold it to have produced a 20 volume DVD set and are selling it on the internet around the world," Lawler said in the interview. The rights to the library are a little cloudy, a fact to which Maclin's attorney alluded in the story.
