Pre-TNA HardCORE Justice Live Notes Inside Here
Thanks to reader Joseph for sending in this live report of his experience waiting outside the iMPACT! Zone in Orlando waiting to get into the TNA HardCORE Justice PPV:
The fans and crowd here are intense. Full of great ECW moments already. So far there has been a very loud "we want tables" chant followed by "we want fire" that went on for about four or five minutes. A very long time for a chant like that.
You should see the look on these skinny, pale caved in fear college kids who are very obviously working at Universal on their summer vacation attempting to control this crowd. Poor dweebs. These are not the normal tourists they were trained to deal with. TNA already sent a camera to record the chant and crowd.
This is going to be a awesome crowd tonight, which is great news for the potential of how great the pay-per-view could be. The crowd is a big part of what ECW was about and will certainly motivate the wrestlers for better matches.
The crowd has been going through and doing tribute chants for all the fallen ECW wrestlers including Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow, Mike Awesome, Louie Spicolli, and others. Some drunk girl tried to throw in Chris Benoit.
Everyone just shut up and gave her the best silent comical WTF moment ever. The girl threw her arms the air and with loud explanation said, "What? He was a original, wasn't he?" Then the crowd skipped over her and chanted a tribute for another ECW wrestler who passed away. There was a eventual short small Benoit chant, but nothing to note, really. I hope they let us in soon it's very hot and humid.
