Ric Flair Turns Down HardCORE Justice Match, Brooke Sued, RAW Guest Hosts

As noted earlier here on the website, many cable systems are listing the following description for RAW tonight? "Guest appearances by Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. Plus, is Team Raw disintegrating?" In an update on this, I watched a NASCAR race this past weekend and Ferrell/Wahlberg made a guest appearance in a taped video to promote their new movie. It was along the lines of "What's up NASCAR fans....". They could obviously do the same thing for WWE fans tonight. If they do appear, it'll be a taped promo obviously as RAW was already taped last week.

One match that was discussed for the 8/8 TNA HardCORE Justice PPV would have pitted long-time rivals Ric Flair vs. former ECW champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. Flair was approached about doing the match, but the "Nature Boy" rejected it.

Hulk Hogan's singer daughter Brooke is facing legal action from her former producers over allegations she failed to properly credit them for work completed for her 2009 album THE REDEMPTION. Pop star and reality TV regular Brooke Hogan is being sued by bosses at Jamaican production company J 2 over the instrumental for the track Trust Me, which featured on the album. The 22 year old is accused of failing to give due credit in the liner notes of the record, which instead named one of Hogan's associates as the producer of the song. J 2 executives filed suit in Manhattan federal court in New York on Thursday (29Jul10) and they are seeking at least $200,000 (?133,330) in compensation, according to the New York Post.
