The Rock Says He Would Have Done MMA; Talks MMA's Effect On Wrestling & More
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was at UFC 119 last night. Johnson spoke to MMAFighting.com and said that while he doesn't feel that MMA is hurting pro wrestling, he would have done MMA instead of pro wrestling.
"There's no question about it," Johnson answered when asked if he would have done MMA. "I love this sport and the thought of competing in the Octagon is something I would have loved to have done, but I went another route. I'm too handsome, I went to Hollywood."
Johnson also name dropped UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar when asked if he would ever return to pro wrestling.
"Na, I don't see that man, I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish in the business," Johnson said. "Brock Lesnar was the last guy I wanted to wrestle. I had the privilege of wrestling him all around the world, and now the privilege of watching him kick ass and humbly dominate the UFC."
