Tons Of UFC News: Suspensions, TUF 12 Ratings, & More

– The UFC Fight Night 22 medical suspensions are in. All 20 fighters that competed got suspensions, with six getting suspensions longer than the mandatory minimum of 10 days. Rousimar Palhares faces a 30 day suspension following a TKO loss to Nate Marquardt. Forrest Petz got 30 days. David Mitchell is facing a 15 day suspension. Rafael Natal got 21 days. And Jared Hamman and Brian Foster are each facing six month suspensions.

– UFC Fight Night 22 on Wednesday Night drew a 0.9 cable rating with 1.2 million viewers. The show peaked with 1.6 million viewers for the Nate Marquardt vs. Rousimar Palhares bout. The show did a 1.2 rating among 18-49 males and a 1.1 rating among 18-34 males. The rating is down from UFC Fight Night 20 in January and UFC Fight Night 22 in March, both of which topped 2 million viewers. This is the lowest rating for a live Fight Night event ever on SpikeTV.

– The season debut of the Ultimate Fighter 12 did a 1.3 cable rating and 1.6 million viewers, according to Spike TV. The show was the highest rated cable program among 18-49 men in its timeslot, but was down from the Ultimate Fighter 11 debut which drew 1.9 million viewers. Of course, the rating could increase as much as 20% once DVR viewers are factored in.

– Tickets for UFC 123: Rampage vs. Machida are now on sale via pre-sale for UFC Fight Club members, with the general sale starting September 20th at 10 AM ET.. UFC.com newsletter subscribers can buy tickets starting Saturday, September 18th at 10AM ET. Ticket prices range from $47 to $397. UFC 123 takes place Nov. 20 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit and will be headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champions Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Lyoto Machida as well as Matt Hughes vs. B.J. Penn.

– Weigh-ins for UFC 119 have been set for September 24th at 3PM ET at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The actual UFC 119 show will then take place the following night in the same venue. There will also be an autographs session at noon ET with Matt Hughes, Alan Belcher and Junior Dos Santos, followed by a UFC Fight Club Q&A session with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at 1PM ET.
