– Ohio Valley Wrestling sent out the following press release today: OHIO VALLEY WRESTLING ANNOUNCES TRYOUT CAMP DECEMBER 4 & 5—WWE EXECUTIVE TO SCOUT POTENTIAL TALENT Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) has announced it's next two-day tryout camp and seminar will take place in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday, December 4th and 5th. This camp will provide those who attend the unprecedented opportunity to be seen and evaluated by officials from THREE different wrestling promotions, OVW, Ring of Honor (ROH) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)! "Other camps give you the opportunity to be seen by decision-makers in one given promotion", said Danny Davis, OVW owner and founder. "This one can open doors for attendees in up to three different companies." The training camp begins on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00AM at OVW's headquarters, the Davis Arena in Louisville. Campers will be given the opportunity to do sample TV promos overseen by ROH on HDNet Executive Producer and current OVW matchmaker Jim Cornette, then receive in-ring instruction from former WWE superstars and current OVW trainers Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore and Mike Mondo, along with pro wrestling legend "Hustler" Rip Rogers and various OVW stars. The day will conclude with exhibition matches where all campers will have the opportunity to show their talents in the ring. Sunday, December 5 will begin again at 11:00AM with more wrestling drills and in-ring instruction, and conclude with an in-person appearance from 3-6PM by WWE Executive Vice-President of Talent Relations John Laurinitis, who will evaluate the camp's standouts in action. "I've participated in two ROH camps and one OVW camp so far this year." said Cornette. "Of those, a number of athletes have been invited to OVW, a few have signed deals with ROH, and several more have been booked for live events or TV tapings to be evaluated further. It's a great opportunity for the campers to be seen, as well as for the promotions to see and spend a few days with the best young athletes out there." If you feel you have what it takes to be a star in OVW, ROH or even WWE, this camp is open to all current pros regardless of experience level. The registration fee is $150, and includes both days of activities as well as lunch for each camper. Transportation to and from the Arena and lodging while in Louisville is the responsibility of the attendee. To enroll, fill out the application form at www.ovwrestling.com and submit it with the registration fee no later than Wednesday, November 24th. Please note that ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE LICENSED by the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority—information on the KBWA's regulations and license application forms can be found at www.kbwa.ky.gov. In the last 17 years, Ohio Valley Wrestling has trained and developed over 130 stars that have gone on to success in WWE, TNA, ROH and Japan. Will YOU be next?
