– Former Ring of Honor World Champion Tyler Black made his WWE developmental debut at Thursday's Florida Championship Wrestling live event, losing to NXT season two finalist Michael McGillicutty. He was introduced as Zack Rollins.

– As noted earlier, WWE has nixed the previously scheduled Countdown to SmackDown special and will instead air a replay of Tuesday's episode of NXT before the premiere of SmackDown tonight on Syfy.
