The Miz's Very Busy Weekend, RAW/NXT/SD! Tapings, & More
– The Miz had quite the busy weekend. On Saturday morning he took the red eye from LA to New York for a two-hour signing appearance at Ringsidefest. He then drove to the WWE Fan Appreciation event in Hartford, CT. From there, he flew to Montreal for a house show and then flew back to New York for tonight's RAW.
– WWE RAW tapes tonight at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. As noted earlier in our RAW preview, Pee Wee Herman guest stars and advertised locally is a dark match featuring WWE champion Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus. Also likely is The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio.
– WWE NXT and SmackDown! tapes tomorrow in Bridgeport, CT. NXT is headlined by the wedding of Aksana and Goldust.
– Wrestling Bus Trips sent out the following today? Wrestling Bus Trips will present our next trip on Saturday December 11th, going to the "Super Saturday" double header at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia. Jersey All Pro Wrestling will hold their Anniversary event at 4:00 PM, featuring the ECW Arena debut for Japanese legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger as he takes on "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush. Also scheduled for JAPW so far are Jay Lethal, Teddy Hart, Jack Evans, Necro Butcher, Dan Maff, Jay and Mark Briscoe, Eddie Kingston, Charlie Haas, Sara del Rey, The Heavy Hitters and more! More official matches will be announced in the weeks to come. Combat Zone Wrestling's Cage of Death will follow. COD is traditionally Combat Zone Wrestling's biggest show of the year, featuring a unique steel cage structure, CZW's Tag Team Tournament finals, their unique brand of "Ultraviolence" plus Drake Younger, Nick Gage, Jon Moxley, Sami Callihan, Danny Havoc and many, many more talents to be announced. The Cage of Death lineup will be announced in the weeks to come. There will be pickups at the following locations and times: 11:45 AM White Castle parking lot (89-03 57th Avenue) in Elmhurst, NY – one block walk from Queens Center Mall. 12:15 PM The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street and 8th Avenue) in Manhattan, NY – one block walk from Madison Square Garden/Penn Station; one subway stop from Times Square. 1:15 PM The Rahway Recreation Center (275 East Milton Avenue) in Rahway, NJ – the regular home of JAPW Wrestling events. The trip will be $93, including round trip travel on the bus on our luxury coach bus, tickets to both events, first admission to each event and more to be announced. We are working on some cool extras. For those of you new to the trips, the bus is a coach bus, with TV monitors playing DVDs of some fun pro wrestling, with heat and a bathroom. Basically, all you need to do is relax and wait for the ride to end. When the shows are over, the bus will be waiting outside for the return trip to drop everyone off at the same locations they are picked up at.
