– According to WWE sources, CM Punk is expected to remain on the RAW broadcast booth for the next several months. The main reason for this is because Vince McMahon has always been a fan of a three-man announce team. That is also part of the reason we see Striker/Cole/Lawler calling WWE pay-per-view events. The call was made at add Punk to the announce booth as he's expected to be out of action several months due to a lower back injury. WWE officials wanted to keep him on TV while he recovers so this worked out well for them.
