– Jim Ross announced for the second quarter broadcast of the Boston Celtics vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game in Oklahoma City for the Celtics radio network. The radio voice of the Celtics is a big wrestling fan and asked who Ross would put on his 'Mount Rushmore' of wrestling. Ross said Lou Thesz, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and Bruno Sammartino.

– Connecticut Public TV (CPTV) tonight is airing an hour and a half special on the history of the New Haven Coliseum, which was demolished in 2007 after 35 years in business. Howard Finkel is supposed to be featured on the show. Fink worked as an usher at the Coliseum in the 70's and was the one who contacted Vince McMahon about the WWWF running a show in the arena. The fed went on to run their until the place closed and Finkel got his position as a ring announcer because of that first call.

– The NWA Jr. Heavyweight Championship and NWA Women's Championship changed hands over the weekend. Craig Classic beat Mike Quackenbush for the Jr. Heavyweight Title in Fort Pierce, Florida while Tasha Simone beat Rachel in Lebanon, Tennessee to win the vacant Women's Title.
