"Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event?"
Show starts right now!
Old and new intros are intertwined, and it looks awesome. Old school fireworks too. Cole introduces he and King as McMahon and Ventura. King has his old school robe on. Red, white and blue ring ropes. Justin Roberts introduces Mean Gene. Interview stage at the top of the ramp. Gene introduces "Cowboy" Bob Orton, complete with cast! Bob cuts him off as Gene tries to introduces Randy Orton. Randy didn't realize we were starting an hour early and isn't here yet. Gene asks if Orton will walk out champion on Sunday and Bob says Randy has always known how to deal with adversary. Bob doesn't care about Cena or Nexus, and speaking of the latter, here comes Wade Barrett!
Barrett says Bob's prediction is as phony as his cast. He's going to do something Bob never did Sunday, and that's become champion. He doesn't owe anything to the old school, because he got here due to his own hard work and initiative. The only reason he didn't bring Nexus out to have Orton beat down is because Wade wants him conscious for Sunday to see what happens to Randy.
Here's The Miz and Alex Riley! Riley has a Raw is War T-Shirt on. Miz says is it just that simple? Miz wasn't thanked for being on Team Orton last week so he sent a message to Orton, changing the landscape of last week's main event, just like he can change the landscape of the WWE by cashing-in his Money in the Bank contract. He might just do it tonight. John Cena is live on the tron. He says Miz has a gift of ruining everything he touches but he won't cash in tonight. He's free or fired Sunday and if he's on the line, he'll protect Wade tonight not for Wade, but for himself. Cena challenges Miz to a match tonight. If he's as "awesome" as he says he is, he should accept. Miz accepts.
Commercial break.
Go old school with WWE.com!
Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero vs. "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry
Fantastic! Where's Mae Young? Michael Cole complains because they don't have their leather chairs this week, awesome. Ziggler goes behind with clubbing blows, attempts the sleeper but gets slammed and tossed to the floor. Back in and Ziggler charges into a clothesline. He ducks a second and goes back to the sleeper but gets squashed in the corner. Henry sits Ziggler up top and slaps him to the floor. Henry gets sexual on the floor with Guerrero. Henry press slams the champion back in but gets his knee dropkicked out from underneath him by Ziggler. Dolph drops a couple of elbows to the back of Henry and gets a 2 count. More shots by Dolph but Mark shoves him away and hits a clothesline. Headbutt now by Henry. Ziggler comes back with rights but runs into a powerslam. Henry gets 2 before Dolph gets a foot on the bottom rope. Big splash misses as Dolph rolls to safety. A leg drop to the back of the head connects for 2, but Dolph follows up with the Zig Zag! One?two?thr-No! Now Dolph locks in the sleeper with the leg scissors and that's enough!
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
In the back The Hart Dynasty discuss their issues but run into Tony Atlas Atlas points out that he and Rocky Johnson didn't always get along but they got it done in the ring. He rants and rants and rants until the Dynasty leave him to it.
Commercial break.
After the break, Atlas is still talking to himself. Yoshi Tatsu makes an appearance. Hilarity ensues.
The Hart Dynasty vs. Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel
Jobber entrances for Slater and Gabriel, who are without the rest of Nexus. Gabriel and Smith start. Gabriel goes to the leg early. They lock up and Smith takes him over a couple of times. Both back up and kicks by Gabriel, but he gets taken down and stomped. Rights in the corner now by Smith and a hard Irish whip to the other side. Couple of belly to belly throws by Smith draws Slater into the ring to break up a pinfall. Slater in off the ta but he gets scoop slammed. Leg drop by Smith earns him another 2 count. Big clothesline in the corner now by Smith. Gabriel's distraction prevents the powerslam and Slater boots Smith in the face. Gabriel in and both Nexus members work Smith over in the corner. Slater legal now and he gets a near fall off of a couple of rights. Whip to the corner but a splash misses. Smith heads to his corner but Kidd moves out of the way, then kicks Smith in the head and jumps off the apron. 450 Splash connects from Gabriel and it's done as another tag team bites the dust.
Winners: Nexus
In the back, Mean Gene is with Randy Orton. Orton doesn't get a word out before R Truth shows up. He says Cena knew what he was doing last week. Cena has no choice at Survivor Series, but Orton does. He can let it happen, or do something about it. It might not be right, but it's the truth. Orton says there is one way he can make sure Cena doesn't screw him over Sunday, and that's to punt him in the head, tonight.
Commercial break.
Justin Roberts introduces Howard Finkel!
He calls it his honour to introduce one of the greatest of all time? to be accompanied by Harvey Wippleman? it's Brooklyn Brawler! Brawler wants respect for old school. He wanted a standing ovation and he wants one when the match is over. Wippleman says Brawler wants to challenge anyone from the new school to a match right now.
Brooklyn Brawler vs. Ezekiel Jackson
Brawler wants none of that. Brawler runs into a shoulder tackle. He tries to slam Jackson but fails, then runs into the proverbial brick wall. Massive clothesline in the corner. Jackson hits his Rock Bottom and it's done.
Winner: Ezekiel Jackson
Still to come, Cena vs. Miz.
Commercial break.
In the back, David Otunga tells the rest of Nexus one of them needs to step up like he did last week. Someone needs to send a message to R Truth. Wade Barrett says Otunga needs to deal with Truth. Otunga says bring it on, they've had brief since NXT anyway.
Cole has an email. The GM says Otunga will be in a special match later but R Truth will be in action against Wade Barrett tonight!
Barrett finds it interesting. Husky Harris says they have his back, but Wade doesn't think it's necessary. He will prove tonight he can beat anyone on the roster on his own. John Cena wants a thank you for taking care of The Miz tonight. Barrett tells Nexus to follow Cena around to protect him from Orton. Cena tells them to back off, because he and Orton have history and if he wants some, he can come get some.
Commercial break.
John Cena vs. The Miz w/ Alex Riley
Jesus, we're only one hour in? Kill me now. Miz has a microphone. We see replays of last week's main event and Miz screwing Orton out of the match. Miz says Cena thinks he's always one step ahead. If Cena takes him out tonight, Miz can't cash in? Miz says the GM never sanctioned this match, so he's making a substitution.
John Cena vs. Alex Riley
Lock up and Cena gets the advantage following some nice chain wrestling from both men. Stand off and now we tease a test of strength but instead Cena goes behind and takes Riley down. Collar and elbow tie up and to the corner they go. Interference from Miz allows A-Ri to take control though and pummel Cena on the floor with rights. Cena comes back quickly though and takes Riley to the corner. Cena misses a charge though and now Riley stomps away with Miz coaching from ringside. Cena gets sent sternum first into the corner now and A-Ri covers for a near fall. Cena battles back though and sends Riley over with a back body drop. Flying shoulder tackles connects. Protobomb follows up. Miz can't see Cena, and there's the Five Knuckle Shuffle. The Attitude Adjustment connects and one STF later and it is over!
Winner: John Cena
Here's Randy Orton. He takes down Miz and here come the Nexus members Harris and McGillicutty! Orton takes both of them out in quick succession though and Orton and Cena square off! Fists fly and the old school referees run in to separate both men. Tons of officials crowd the ring as the crowd chant "let them fight."
Our anonymous GM says these guys have issues that need to be worked out before the Survivor Series. So tonight, both men will be guests on? Piper's Pit!
Commercial break.
We get the old school Raw intro and siren again. Cole and Lawler run down what we've already seen so far tonight.
In the ring, Finkel announces Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff begins to sing his National anthem, but here comes Santino and Vladimir Kozlov! Santino apologizes for interrupting, but Kozlov wants to sing the anthem with him! The fans chant "USA," but they sing their anthem anyway. Santino is unimpressed by their vocal work and curs them off early. There is one song he wants them to hear, but to help him sing it, Santino introduces Slick! Sheik starts ranting and I don't understand a damn word other than "Hulkamania" and "shut up." OK.
Number One Contender's Match: Jimmy and Jay Uso w/ Tamina and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka vs. Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella
After a commercial break, we join the action. Usos are in control, though I've no idea which one is which. One of them gets 2 off of a double team though. A scoop slam connects and then we get a tag. Boots by Uso, but a right is blocked and Santino gets an arm drag and tags out. Kozlov catches Uso in mid air and connects with a fallaway slam. Santino back in and a battering ram double team connects, allowing Santino to cover for 2. Kozlov back in now and tosses Uso around, then floors him with a kick. A blind tag allows the other Uso in though and he chop blocks Kozlov and scores a near fall. A back suplex actually connects by Uso and now we go to a resthold. This match has been very sluggish. Uso comes off the ropes but right into a headbutt from Kozlov. The Usos get a tag and Santino gets knocked off the apron and to the floor. Kozlov falls victim to another cover and a 2 count. Quick tags in and out now by the Usos and they wear Kozlov down with stomps and quick successive pinfall attempts. Kozlov fights out of a front facelock, back drops Uso and gets the tag. Santino clears house with rights, the splits, ducks a clothesline and hits a back suplex. Falling headbutt gets 2. Kozlov takes out the other Uso. And here comes the Cobra! One?two?three!
Winners: Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov
Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Kozlov! And the Usos! Santino begs off and here's John Morrison He low bridges Sheamus and kicks him right off the apron. Morrison says he keeps doing this because Sheamus is a bully and when bullies feel threatened they turn and walk away. If he wants a fight, he's right here. Sheamus feigns interest and then backs off.
Commercial break.
Welcome back to the Raw that never ends.
We thank Hail the Villain for "Runaway" from the album Population Declining. It's the Survivor Series theme.
David "A-List" Otunga vs. Kofi Kingston
They circle for a long time with Kofi going for kicks to the thigh. The same way the tag match with Nexus started earlier. Side headlock by Kofi, for ages. Kofi goes to the air but gets caught and slammed. Otunga hits a second successive scoop slam? and a third. Moveset. Chinlock applied by Otunga now, presumably as he tries to remember another hold. Jericho has 1,004 of them. Kofi elbows out, gets shot off and tackled mid ring with an elbow from Otunga. Otunga places a knee in the back and works over Kofi one more time. Again Kingston elbows out and gets a few kicks in now followed up by some right hands. A high dropkick connects. Kofi avoids a couple of clothesline but then both men collide mid-ring, both hitting clotheslines on the other. George "The Animal" Steele is wandering out! What the hell? He climbs into the ring, and the referee stops him eating one turnbuckle, but not the other. Vintage! As the referee leads Steele out of the ring, Kofi sends Otunga into the exposed steel. Trouble in Paradise leads to the three count for Kingston!
Winner: Kofi Kingston
In the back, Arn Anderson and Gerry Briscoe chat to John Morrison. Sheamus then proceeds to kick Morrison's head off. Sheamus says he accepts the challenge, and they'll meet at Survivor Series.
Commercial break.
In the back, Hacksaw Jim Duggan calls Aksana a Ho and tells her her mother's here to visit. It turns out it's Dusty Rhodes in a wig. They catch her in a net and Goludst, takes back the Million Dollar Belt. He's returning it to its rightful owner, Ted DiBiase Snr. IRS promises to get a good tax shelter for it. Snr. Tries to return the belt to DiBiase Jr but he doesn't want it. DiBiase walks off. Cody Rhodes shows up to produce some laughs with Goludst. We get a dance off with Kelly Kelly, Tatanka, Dusty, Askana, Million Dollar Man and IRS. Ron Simmons is here! DAMN!
Commercial break.
Lord Alfred Hayes gives us the messages from the sponsors!
R Truth w/ Eve vs. Wade Barrett
Eve is very hot. Boot to the gut by Barrett and both men exchange rights early with the number one contender gaining the upper hand early. Truth avoids a clothesline though, hits a leg lariat and then sends Barrett to the floor. Rolling senton over the top connects and both men are down on the outside! Truth up and rolls Barrett back in before heading up top. Barrett tries to catch him out, Truth comes in but gets drilled with a spinning slam. Wade chokes Truth over the middle rope before landing a delayed suplex followed up by a near fall. Barrett to the second rope and drops a big elbow to the sternum of Truth. Cover only gets a 2 count for the Nexus leader. Barrett connects with a sloppy looking tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and earns another near fall. Truth surprises Wade with an inside cradle for 2, but Barrett is right back on the attack with mounted right hands. Barrett goes to a chinlock now but Truth quickly works his way out of it with elbows. Barrett charges into a boot in the corner and Truth comes out with a couple of clotheslines. Truth blocks a hip toss into a cradle and scores a near fall of his own. Front falling suplex scores 2 more for the former United States Champion. Barrett scoops Truth up but Wasteland is avoided. Truth comes off the ropes but right into the boot of Barrett, and Orton's challenger hits Wasteland on the second attempt for the big win!
Winner: Wade Barrett
Commercial break.
We get the Old School intro and siren one more time. It's old now, guys.
Ricardo Rodriguez is interrupted by Tito Santana, who wants to do it his way. He announces Alberto del Rio. Del Rio is driven to the ring by Chavo Classic!
Cole says del Rio will captain a team at Survivor Series, more on that later.
Del Rio thanks Chavo and Tito. He introduces himself. He speaks in Spanish, something about fat Americans, as if there was any other kind. Del Rio thinks other legends should follow Tito and Chavo's example and pay respect to him. Sgt. Slaughter is here! Didn't see that one coming. Shut your hole! 2 things you don't mess with ? legends and America. If he wants respect, he has to earn by facing Slaughter right now. Scum! Slime! Maggot! Del Rio says bring it and get a referee out here.
Alberto del Rio vs. Sgt. Slaughter
Del Rio goes low and pummels Sgt. Slaughter with kicks and rights. A couple of hip tosses are blocked and Slaughter locks in the Clutch! Del Rio elbows out of it though after getting to the ropes and then floors Slaughter with a stiff clothesline. Chinlock applied now but Slaughter fights out with elbows. Swing and a miss by del Rio and the clutch is in again, but again del Rio breaks free. The step up enziguiri in the corner connects and we're done.
Winner: Alberto del Rio
Del Rio locks in the arm bar post-match until MVP makes the save and del Rio bails.
Commercial break.
WrestleMania 27 tickets are on sale now!
Mean Gene is with Mae Young. My satellite signal keeps going down during this, but they play a video of some of her more infamous moments. Here come Simply Flawless to save the day! They're confused? is this old school Raw or Jurassic Park? Real talk ? show some love for the only woman old enough to be Betty White's grandmother. She needs her adult diaper changed. Mae wants a match with these "SLUTS!" No disqualification! She takes her jacket off to reveal her ring gear. We have a ref and the match is on. All the Divas are out now to back up Mae. They take out Michelle and let Mae slap Layla. She pins her with a foot on her chest on the ramp way and we get a big celebration with the Divas. Kill me now.
Jim Ross is here for guest commentary! Cole isn't happy JR is back on "his" show. JR blanks Cole.
Daniel Bryan vs. Jack Swagger
Swagger goes for some wrestling holds early but Bryan holds his own and they separate. Bryan goes for the LeBell lock early but it's blocked and Swagger picks the ankle but again both men separate. The commentary here is actually pretty fun. They exchange near falls with roll ups and they work through a series of wrestling holds with both trying to get on top but no clear winner emerging. Bryan eventually takes to the air to floor Swagger with a dropkick. Kicks in the corner now by Bryan, but he runs into a big boot from Swagger. We're heading to another commercial break. When we come back Cole is asleep on the desk! Swagger works a bear hug and gets 2 off of a slam. Forearms from Swagger now, followed up by a front facelock. Bryan fights back into it and sends Swagger to the floor. A baseball slide connects and sends Swagger reeling, and now Bryan comes flying off of the apron with a knee to the temple of Swagger. Back in and Bryan soars off the top and hits a big missile dropkick! One?two?thr-NO! Kicks by Bryan, one gets blocked and Swagger goes to the ankle but Bryan rolls through. He misses a big running dropkick in the corner and lands hard on the back of his head! Swagger Bomb connects! That only gets 2 though. A second splash connects, and now Swagger wants the gutwrench ? it's countered and Bryan goes for the LeBell lock, but Swagger blocks it and hits a backbreaker. Gutwrench avoided again and a stiff roundhouse kick gets 3!
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Ted DiBiase jumps Bryan immediately after the match and lays him out with Dream Street! DiBiase has the United States Championship and leaves it on Bryan.

We are back and it is time for the Legends to come back out and they are introduced. It looks like Tony Atlas is still talking about him and Rocky Johnson.
It is now time for Piper's Pit with your host Rowdy Roddy Piper.
Piper says that 'old school' is not about nostalgia or a 'happy feely time'. It was a time when you had to man up. It was a time when you had to stand up to the plate. Like when Captain Lou was being honored with an award, he smashed him in the face with a gold record. When Jimmy Snuka became a hot shot, he hit him in the head with a coconut. When you had a problem, you did something about it. That is what he hopes to accomplish tonight.
Piper brings out John Cena first. He says hello to Cena and calls him a 'big boy'. He says that he has been a fan of his for a long time. Piper says that he has been competing over thirty years and he has never been WWE Champion. He says that many Hall of Famers like Ted DiBiase, Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka, and Mr. Perfect never became the WWE Champion. He says that if John is going to do what he thinks he is going to do and he is going to give that SOB Wade Barrett the title without him deserving it, he is spitting in the face of all of those legends he is saying that he respects. Piper says that he is asking John Cena not to spit in his face. Cena has been the man ever since he came into the company. Consequences be damned, he tells Cena to do the right thing.
Cena says that for weeks he has had to hear 'free or fired' and at times he doesn't know what the right thing is. It is not that easy. He says that from the moment he got to the WWE, he has worked as hard as he can so people like Piper can look at the WWE they will say that that kid can hang with them. Cena says that old school is a term. He says that he looked up to them as a kid and they were his heroes. Cena says that he has been thinking about this a lot and all of the work he has been doing. He hands over a title, he is free, but he is only known as the guy who gave the title to Wade Barrett. John says that if Randy Orton wins at Survivor Series, he earns it. If Wade Barrett wins at Survivor Series, he earns it. Cena says that he will call the match down the middle.
Wade Barrett comes out and he tells Cena 'bravo' and 'well said'. He agrees that the match should be called down the middle. Wade says that he has proven that he can beat anyone on the Raw roster without anyone's help. Wade says that those were magnificent words, but they are only words. There is a reality at place. The reality is that if Wade doesn't get his hand raised and win the WWE Title, Cena is history. There will be no Wrestlemania moment and no Cenation.
Piper tells Barrett to shut up. If Wade lets Cena give him the WWE Title, at the end of the day, he might have the title, but he won't be a champion. He will be a joke.
Barrett wants to know who Roddy Piper is to cast judgment on him. Wade says that one way or another, this is John Cena's final night on Raw as a part of Nexus. It might be his final night on Raw. On Sunday, he either sets him free or he fires him. Barrett says that if this is his final Raw as a part of Nexus, he makes Cena put on the black and gold of Nexus. He tells Cena to put it on or he will fire Cena on the spot.
John puts on the Nexus shirt and he is finally one of them. Cena asks Barrett if he is happy. He tells Wade that he is his boss until Sunday, but win or lose, he is going to turn Barrett's face into mush.
Barrett says that he has heard all of his comments, and he knows that Nexus is banned from ringside. The moment the match ends, Nexus will hit the ring and neutralize any threat.
The other guest on Piper's Pit finally comes out and Randy Orton is a man with a purpose as he comes to the ring.
Orton tells Cena ever since he counted 1-2-3 on him last week, he thought of a way to end this by kicking him in the skull and taking him out.
Cena asks Randy what is stopping him because he tried earlier tonight.
Randy says that he could take out Cena or . . .
Orton punches Barrett and then he hits a power slam. Orton goes to his knees and he does the RKO push ups. Cena stands between Barrett and Orton and Orton gives Cena an RKO.
Orton backs up and he sends Barrett out of the ring before lining up for the field goal. Orton misses wide right and Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Orton.
Barrett returns to the ring and he wants Barrett to raise his hand. Cena thinks about it he gives Barrett an Attitude Adjustment instead. Cena throws off the Nexus shirt and he leaves the ring as we go to credits. (Thanks to PWI for the main event)
