— Former WWE Superstar Vance Archer, a.k.a. Lance Hoyt, was on Right After Wrestling earlier this week. He talked about his WWE release coming as a surprise, stating, “Oh absolutely (his release came as a surprise). I think sometimes you can get an inclination that something wrong is happening. I always felt there are good times and bad in wrestling, highs and lows, I felt that I was in a low period but I didn’t think it would be leading to a release. I thought maybe it would be pushing through that and onto bigger and better things once the time can. Unfortunately that didn’t come. For me, it was told to me that it was a budgetary reason (that he was released).” He also talked about the reason he was released by WWE, how he ended up with the name Vance Archer, his time with TNA and more. The Killeen Daily Herald has more information on the WWE Tribute to the Troops 2010 show at Fort Hood. The show will be held at Sadowski Field from 1 to 3 p.m. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. The show will feature appearances by The View’s Sherry Shepherd, Miss USA Rima Fakih, Cedric the Entertainer, Ariel Winter and Diddy Dirty Money.
